Another nerf to the economy / progression: 10 kills required for the Heavy Metal Hero award

If you only read my post properly ! Let me extract the good bits for you:

“Except, you don’t, at least not very often!”
“Tough stats to get you anywhere close to the Heavy Metal Hero Award

Your stats are not too bad, and of course, with variance and luck, you will get high kill games.

Now, I bet you are incapable of getting 4x Heavy Metal Hero within 10 games (4x is one of the requirements for a Special Task - and 10 games would be a “reasonable” amount of time to complete it).

So next time you come bragging, you better have those screenshots with timestamps at the ready !

Cheers

You are right !

Actually, his stats are just a bit above average (52% winrate).
With luck and variance, he can reach 10 kill games, but that will be rare - regardless of how he his own interpretations of statistics.
Now, also getting most kills at the same time, and get the Award - I bet he almost never gets it.

With my favorite / competitive line up, I have 70% winrate and a K/D around 2.5 – and I can’t get the Award within a reasonable amount of games that would allow “fast” Special Task completion and Battle Pass progression.

Anyway ! That is still a massive increase in difficulty to get the Award.

@WanouMars
I never bragged about anything.
My statement was “as much as” which is a relativistic statement, not an absolute one.

Specifically, it’s comparing air to ground, nothing more.
All it did was say “I perform at least as well in ground than I do in air.” which my stats show.
No where did I say I get them often, but I do get them on average once a week.

If I tryhard I can semi-consistently force them, especially 5.7, 6.0, 6.7, and 7.0.

But I play all BRs, and my only point was only to say that it’s now a similar difficulty to the air award IMO.

Thanks for clarifying! and anyways!

This Award is now way more difficult to get, effectively slowing down progression for Battle Pass and SL gain, and that’s the issue.
