Another completely random FPS bug (Need help identifying)

Normally, when I play WarThunder, I get over 200 FPS; however, after 1 or 2 matches since the patch dropped, my FPS suddenly gets locked to 30 FPS until I full reset the game.

I do not know why it occurs, it does not appear to be a RAM leak like last time. My GPU is fine, as I play way more intense games than this. I do not run Ray Tracing because it’s horrifically buggy, and I don’t even run max graphics because this game’s optimization consistency per map is terrible.

If anyone else has experienced this recently or might know the cause, I would love to know. I have found myself unable to do anything but back out of the game during matches, and sometimes, it won’t let me rejoin after resetting, and I get crewlocked.

I’m having the same thing too. Absolutely no idea what is causing it. Most of the time it happens is after a match has finished and it is loading the reward screen so it could be an issue with that? Other times it happens mid game at random.

I’ve just given up hope with all the performance issues with the game at this point. Rarely do they get fixed or even acknowledged by the devs.

That’s exactly what happens. High FPS in-game, then it drops this low and stays until I restart the game.

Im having a similar issue, but only happens when i switch between the game and other aplications

Mine just happens like the guy above stated. When the game ends and goes into the rewards screen, it limits the FPS at about 30.

No idea here too. I have returned to check out WT after 1+ year. I love the good old sounds returning but the graphical side is horrible.
They removed TAA HQ, MSAA setting which made the game look great for me while keeping at 75 - 120 FPS, the game was sharp, stable, clear.

Now I am forced to use TAA without MSAA. The only option in game is SSAA 4x which my PC can not handle. So the game looks horrible compared even to 2013 standards WT while I am dropping to 37 - 45 FPS on “reworked” maps eg. Advance on Rhine… I have no idea why my FPS is dropping so drastically either…
