The AMX TO90/930 might be the most overtiered vehicle in game. The only reason that it is at 8.0 is that it has autoloaded APHE. In what world should i have to fight T72s With 3BM25 that can pen me litrally anywhere. There are better alternatives to it at a lower BR in the same tech tree! “But it has APHE and most French tanks don’t get APHE, so it is diffrent.” Here’s the thing: You don’t need APHE to be good. Look at the surblinde or surbasse of which are .3 lower than it, And they might be some of the most broken in the game.

I agree with you regarding the AMX.
But you won’t see a T72 unless you uptier yourself.

It and the Char 25t should not be 8.0 but also as someone else said T-72 is 9.3 and you need to uptier yourself to face it.
I never did any research into the uptier/downtier system, but I thought it worked by going +1 in BR for uptiers, and -1 for downtiers. I thought if I got a full uptier(9.0) and a T72M1 got a full downtier(8.3) there is 2 BRs where The two could fight (8.7) and (9.0)? I’m not too sure though
Nope. A 9.3 vehicle can meet lowest 8.3 vehicles in a full downtier and highest 10.3 in a full uptier. If your lineup is 8.0 (none of the vehicles can be higher than 8.0) you cannot meet 9.3 or higher vehicles. Worst case scenario is 9.0.
