I mean 8 is a fine amount but I have never seen a SLAMRAAM with 6 120’s.

half of the italian SPAA tree has no ammo for their SPAA, Gepard 1A2 is at 9.7 with only 4 stingers and no refills. LAV-AD if you take the hydra pod only gets 4 stingers etc. These SPAA are all still effective enough…

Yeah Italy does not count because without the Hungarians they are barely a tech tree. Gerpard has guns same with the ZSU M4. LAV-AD is not even used as an SPAA most of the time.

We are also talking top tier SPAA (4 AIM-120s and 2 9Xs is still enough for Top tier SPAA). NASAMS type launchers would give a lot of nations a new AA option too. To my knowledge almost all of Western Europe uses them

Cause Gaijin won’t give Italy good SPAA/AA. They could add the Polyphem (IR), B1 Draco with DART, or the CAMM-ER on the iLauncher platform (could give it only CAMM for balance’s sake). For vehicles that require at least one trailer, they could add the SAMP/T using the Asper 15 (requires one trailer) or the Spada with Aspida-A1 missiles (requires two trailers).

So one doesn’t count because you don’t want it to, and the other two don’t count because they have guns that are practically useless outside of 1.5km at that BR?

Especially since Gaijin plans on adding re-arm points in spawn, this vehicle would be absolutely fine. If you must, give it a row trailer that can old the 120s like that on the Crocodile with the Napalm.

At this point you are arguing merely because you do not like it and do not want the US to have something usable, not be sure there are any actual breaking factors for it entering the game.

Thats why Gepard 1A2 is foldered because its unnecessary. The ZSU is just sad and has no right to exist.

the problem with the american ADATS that isn’t present on the british one, besides what you’ve already been told, is the fact the gunner optic is STILL locked to the 25mm cannon, despite it having a -5/+90 degree elevation IRL.

I think about a year ago, gaijin finally fixed the missiles to have their proper +85 degrees of elevation, but didn’t fix the gunner optic, making it only possible to aim the missiles in third person, while being unable to lock onto anything due to the gunner optic not being able to see the target above +59 degrees of elevation, unless you drove onto a hill to aim the entire weapon system up.

Thats gaijins fault not the vehicle. It will most likely be fixed at some point. The british one is slower and lacks the bushmaster.

Maybe but it could just be another ai ground target like the S-300

sheesh it would be a great addition honestly, but yeah every american thing that gets added definetly gets stomped on by the devs or nerf it few days later because its too “overpowered”
