The ZSU-23-4M4 is massively undertiered right now. Iglas got stealth buffed a few months back on the ZSU-23-4M4 so that they pull immediately off the rails and now outperform the Stinger and Mistral at closer ranges.
Uh, just because it’s foldered doesn’t mean it’s unnecessary. It gets missiles to perform well at its BR.

The issue with it is not really the Iglas its just that the radar and the 23mm are just trash. Mostly the radar set it moves so slow and is extremely inaccurate. Give me some of what u have been smoking because you crazy.
The ZSU-23-4M4’s radar is bad, but it still gets 4 missiles with an instant pull that no other missile in the game gets - all at 9.3. Give me some of what you’ve been smoking.
They are caged so the missile is a trade off.

It does matter when your trying to shoot down supersonic aircraft moving across your screen. Further it is infinitely worse than the Gepard 1A2.

How? Why should the Igla be pulling off the rails instantly? And how does showing them pulling instantly off the rails mean that missile systems that don’t do that are better?
Thats how the missile is balanced. The base ZSU sucks to it gets decent missiles to compensate. Plus comparing it to an SPAA which is mostly used as a TD is unfair.

That is the point of adding missiles in general, not missiles that pull of the rails instantly when no other missile system in the entire game gets them (especially after the Stinger and Mistral were nerfed because the Igla uses an outdated method of control).
The Gepard 1A2 which I compared it to is a very competent SPAA and not used as a TD as offen as the base Gepard due to its higher battle rating. I will give you that the Stinger sucks but the Mistral is not that bad. Plus at the same BR the USA gets the Chaparral which has more and better missiles than the ZSU.
And just to be clear the Strella and RBS-70 both pull of rail instently.
Whether or not it has better missiles is still up for debate, but the Chaparral doesn’t get any guns at all (so even if its missiles were 100% better, it’s a tradeoff).
At 9.3 any SPAA guns under 30mm are useless due to small range. Cant act like a real SPAA just fire when the plane is right above which means you cant protect your team.
I meant they can protect themselves against light vehicles, the Chaparral can’t.
Yeah but neither can the Stella or the Type 93 or the Type 81 or the Ozelot or the Santal. Point is its not the only one.
The Strela is OP at its BR, the Type 81 (C) up until it got moved to 11.3 had good missiles to make up for that, the Santal makes up for it with a lot of missiles, the Ozelot should be moved down to 9.3, the Type 93 is alright at its BR due to its missile count.
