Amphibious Assault Game mode Idea

I made this thread to discuss the idea of a new game mode combining all elements of war thunder gameplay into one long format match. The main goal of the game mode is to assist Naval and ground forces by capturing or destroying all enemy assets. Players would be able to spawn either, Helicopters, Naval aircraft, ships, or land vehicles. The match would consist of 3 phases, with all vehicle types remaining relevant throughout each one. Players would have a choice to switch between roles at any time. The estimated duration for each phase would be around 10 minutes but would vary depending on the experience and skill of the players.

Match Phases

Spoiler

Phase 1:
Phase 1 is the initial assault on enemy forces. Players spawn from a combination of offshore amphibious assault ships or aircraft carriers. Players must destroy coastal defenses and establish a spawn point on the beach. Enemy defenses would consist of AA guns, coastal artillery, defensive structures like pillboxes/bunkers, and boats.

Phase 2:
After phase 1, players can now spawn on the beach with land-based vehicles. An enemy airfield is located further inland. Players must assist land forces in capturing the airfield and establishing a spawn point for land-based aircraft. The airfield will spawn a small group of attackers and fighters that will occasionally attack friendly forces until it is captured.

Phase 3:
Phase 3 will be the final phase of the match. At this phase, players must destroy remaining forces and capture all enemy bases.

Roles

Spoiler

Tanks:
Amphibious vehicles will be the first to land on beaches. These vehicles will destroy light defenses like machine guns, and coastal artillery, and AA positions. After the initial assault, land-based vehicles can spawn directly on the beach and move further inland, capturing bases, destroying enemy infrastructure, or destroying other defensive enemy units. Light tanks will act as recon units for tanks, helicopters, aircraft, and ships. SPAA could destroy any aircraft that spawn and attempt to stop advancing forces.

Aircraft:
Aircraft have an essential role in supporting ground forces. The beginning of the match will be limited only to carrier capable aircraft. Their purpose is to destroy other aircraft and provide close air support for ground forces. After airfields are established, land-based aircraft have the ability to spawn. The primary objective will now shift into base destruction while continuing their close air support role if possible. To balance aircraft gameplay, markers for enemy ground units will be hidden until spotted by friendly forces but can still be located and destroyed if the aircraft player can see them. Bases and bomb targets would still have markers.

Helicopters:
Helicopters will assist ground forces by providing close air support, recon/forward observation, and by moving cargo from ships and helipads. Like aircraft, markers for enemy ground units will be hidden BUT can be spotted for ground forces, planes and ships. Helicopters can capture enemy helipads and transport supplies (repairs and ammo) to players in need.

Ships:
Ships would assist in the initial assault by providing artillery support for ground forces and protecting the carrier from enemy attacks. Enemy units like boats and attack aircraft will attempt to destroy the aircraft carrier and ships.

Friendly forces:

Spoiler

Friendly forces will consist of landing craft, A.I convoys, amphibious assault ships, and an aircraft carrier. Landing craft will only be present in phase 1 and will be the A.I units that assault the beach. Amphibious assault ships will act as spawn points for players and A.I units. The aircraft carrier would act as a spawn point for helicopters and carrier-capable fixed wing aircraft. All friendly units can be destroyed or disabled if left unsupported. If friendly forces are lost, their absence will negatively impact the objectives of the match. Friendly forces would be limited in number. Losing all A.I units will result in mission failure.

Enemy forces

Spoiler

Enemy forces would consist of tank formations, attack aircraft, convoys, AA batteries, artillery, bases, and airfields. Attack aircraft will spawn from airfields and attack both players and friendly units. Artillery would target players in contact with enemy units or captured bases within firing range. AA would of course attempt to shoot down helicopters and aircraft. Bases can be captured and used as spawn points. Airfields would be that same as bases, but spawn only aircraft. Tank formations will move toward the beach from enemy bases and engage all players and units within their radius. If these tanks make it to the beach, landing craft and ground units will have difficulties advancing inland.

Maps

Spoiler

War thunder already has plenty of maps that would work well for this game mode.

This would provide players with a dynamic and engaging game mode that enables everyone to have an important role regardless of their vehicle preference. I plan on making this a suggestion in the gameplay section so hope to get as much input and opinions from other players as possible.
