Please return the g wagon back to the us tree . we have the claws for humvees . i love the claws but getting another humvee just for the amrer isnt it. Might as well give it to the claws with a dynamic br or a br increase

Given the absolute disgust shown by your fellow us mains towards foreign copy paste, i don’t think it’s reasonable to demand that another nations unique vehicle joins the US when a domestic option is present

Problem moreso is that the SLAM’s radar is the bog standard AN/MPQ-64 which is not used with the NASAMS 3, the NASAMS 1 yes but we don’t have that in the game.
If they are going to just copy paste the SLAM’s model it needs to be upgraded to a AN/MPQ-64A3 or reverted to the Gwagon rocking the AN/MPQ-64F1 which are the only radars that Konigsberg and Raytheon cleared for the modern NASAMS 3.

If it is going to be using the base AN/MPQ-64, then it should have the standard CLAWs launcher (NASAMS 1), which means it cant use the AMRAAM-ER, which defeats the entire purpose of the vehicle existing in the first place since it would just be the SLAMRAAM but with the ability to actually choose it’s loadout, aka, a boatload of wasted RP and SL.
Edit for posterity as well, the A3 is mounted on a totally different trailer and is pulled by a FMTV not a Humvee.

Our patria 6x6 is the only chassis to my knowledge that modern Crotale had been mounted on, we just use ITO here in Finland but because the french made the turret, and don’t have a domestic chassis then it’s fine

I think domestic US vehicles fit the tree far better even if not entirely realistic rather than the US getting Scania trucks from Norway.

As @Lolman345 wonderfully said,Gaijin is making a mess out of the NASAMS. If they want to use the standard AN/MPQ-64 radar then it’s not the NASAMS 3 but the standard NASAMS which cannot mount AMRAAM-ER nor AIM-9Xs and thus it is basically a RP waste for the US tree.
If they want to truly give us the NASAMS 3,then they need to change the radar to the stronger AN/MPQ-64A3 (or F1) and change the radar vehicle for the US again (since the US either uses the Humvee with the same radar module as the G-wagon or uses a completely different vehicle).
