American Nasams radar vehicle

@exeisdefeatable that is not what he said bro, are you feeling a bit illiterate today?

you replied to Pheonix_RX01 and not Gigachad360 in the message above. I know Gigachad360 is asking for some other nations radar car

but they wont add it , its easier for gaijin to port the g wagon than model the truck.

Phoenix is a dane, and supporting my argument 🫩

It sucks given how a minor change can make something represent a nation far more. As it currently stands the current NASAM’s on the US is gaijin being to lazy to try and properly represent the US and just adding a Norwegian model because the snail is again lazy and probably only planned to add NASAM 3 to Sweden originally if i had to guess.

The problem is gaijin wont add them. they rather give us the humvee again than model the real alternatives . at least if they are going to copy paste they might as well give us a different copy paste

Neither am i against your argument. I completely agree with the fact that we US mains whine about other nation receiving our stuff but we at the same time we want other nation stuff. I am sorry for misunderstanding your reply to Phoenix

Thats just gaijin being lazy as usual. Just look at most copy and paste vehicles, gaijin could ask or have the models represent the most unique version of a nation so that they look very different yet they go with the bare minimum everytime

Great that we cleaned it up, the hostility on my end was fairly unwarranted.

What I want to say is that America has their own option which fits here, and that should be prioritised especially given how much US mains tend to get upset about foreign weaponry being better.

Idk having a chance to have your own system be as good as the foreign one for once, then complaining about it seems contradictory. 🤷‍♂️

I personally like the car over an Abrams, it’s a fair compromise to me. Simply put a truck cannot be used to justify the seriousness of a SEPvX without the TUSK. In additon it gets a round made by GDL not even M829A2, it’s surely an additon, an odd one. Alas it seems silly factor is no loner as interesting as serious.

:( diatribe

i never said other nations to not get other us vehicles , stop comparing me with others. stop putting me in that group

Well, it seems the USMC uses the G-Wagon; well, the NAMSAMS is stationary around Washington.

Something tells me the USMC wouldn’t be operating the NAMSAMS, hence the compromise of the HUMVEE for radar vehicle well using the same truck for the missiles as the Norwegian one(due to the lack of the US using a truck there).

Only as an SAS style recon car like the land rover defenders they had

Hence this:

As no matter what role it was in, it’s unlikely to be used for the NAMSAMS.

But that makes sense, I only saw only the USMC used it and was like they’d be unlikely to use the SPAA in question. Didn’t look into what role it was, but I can see that.

Ehhhh, more time not to add the MIM-23, that’d solve all the issues here lul. But I never thought a truck would cause this much discourse!

It’s more about what’s mounted on the truck, in regards to it’s capabilities

What “home-made alternative” the SLAMRAAM is already a thing in game, it cant use the AMRAAM-ER. The US does not have a mobile NASAMS 3 launcher, only stationary ones.

The problem is that the base AN/MPQ-64 they added is not capable operating a NASAMS 3 battery, while the AN/MPQ-64F1, the radar on the Gwagon currently, can.

Stop trying to make this partisan when this is a literal equipment interaction issue, they literally aren’t made to work together per the manufacturer.

Regrdless, the upon the prescipice of this patch I much labourious grinding to attend to. To my dismay the proof is in the pudding the G-Class was merely a psudeo-germane stand in for a more indigenious vehicle.

Ehhh, have a platoon of Marines lugging it around. Only proper option I can think of.
