what’s the difference between them?
The Swiss one has 20km more range and can track more targets in TWS.
How does this affect you?
Realistically, not at all. Spawns are circa. 70km away from each other in RB maps, so extra range is useless regardless of what missiles you have.
Extra TWS targets? The US one has 10, you can see practically the entire team with that anyways.
That is as long as they are all within your scan area, which happens only if they spawn on the airfield.
@MCNasTY_1998-psn the literal only part where the Swiss hornet is realistically better is due to extra countermeasures, which isn’t an issue for someone who has a single clue on how to play the aircraft
if you want to complain about countermeasure count, go look at the MiG-29N, at 13.3 with 60 medium caliber countermeasures, one of the worst 4th gen airframes and SPO-15, which doesn’t even tell you if the thing engaging you is a Fox-3 or Fox-1.
Or the J-15T, at 14.7 with just 48 countermeasures which players have been trying to get buffed since the first dev server, guess what happened? Nothing, because there is no proof that it has more countermeasures.
Finally, if you want the US hornet to get buffs, go find sources that prove what you want.
Without sources, gaijin isn’t doing jack shit.

i have done the same thing, recommend him to watch tutorials about how to get good with the Hornet, but he prefers to blindly touch the “Reply” button and say “nah u’re bad i’m good deal with it kiddo ez tralalero tralala TUNGTUNGTUNG!”
