American F-15E Strike Eagle Engines

6 years prior to them even getting it is what annoys me a lot

Also didn’t even mention, Israel is a carbon copy of the us tree, so wdym “finally gets something worth playing” the whole tech tree only exists because of our vehicles

Pretty much, without us selling to them they would have nothing good

I don’t want this to turn into or start a US vs ISR debate because frankly, the two nations air tree’s largely share the same trials and tribulations, and we should be working together, not against, to improve many of our shared issues.

But with that said, Israel, despite on the surface just getting copies of US things, has fallen behind a lot in certain capabilities over time. And this is largely as a result of the snail seemingly not bothering to model domestic munitions.

I mean if you look back, Israel was always missing something. Netz was nice but it had no SARHs. Kurnass was nice but had no SARH’s. Barak was nice but had no AGM’s + worse engines.

Ra’am is really the first instance of Israel surpassing parity with US stuff from an A2A perspective. Which is why the solution here is to give E 229’s and Ra’am standoff so that for once, we have capability parity with one another.

And I agree with you, I have been on board since day one that if the F-15E gets the 229s then the F-15I should get Mavricks or a domestic equivalent

This is fair but I personally think that the original nation should always have an equal or better variant of a vehicle than the export country does, If the export nation has better vehicles then why would you grind the original one? Also if Israel never used sarhs/better engines on those vehicles then why would you be upset that it doesn’t have them? That’s just being historically accurate

If the E just got it’s engines it would be balanced already, the I has more CM so it would still be a little better in air but the E would still be better in ground

Side note to this, I’m fine with Israel getting it’s domestic weapons as long as they’re balanced in game, people asking for stuff like the python 4 is way too much for the game currently. But I’ve seen things like the spice and popeye being mentioned and I don’t know much about them, but if they wouldn’t be op compared to other nations’ weapons then I’m all for them being added

F-15E could get AGM 130 but they would be worse

Spice bomb is like our jdam kits but with Popeye seeker instead of GPS

Edit: removed “If Popeye is added many US aircraft can get them as Popeye was operated by US”

It was only used on B-52 by USAF unfortunately

I think the us getting a worse version is reasonable, would also be a good way to balance the F-15I not having mavs

So is the spice a tv bomb or laser?

who the fck is popeye? the guy that eats spinach?

yes its a missile that uses spinach as fuel

Pretty sure it’s TV/IR

must be OP

I think it would be fine to add it then, considering we have things like the kh38 already, I have no idea why it isn’t already added

you know the sad thing is i dont think theres a very accurate representation of the strike eagle elsewhere in media. its always a bus

it probably would be, ive seen a documentary where despite somehow being launched out of a torpedo tube it is able to sink a battleship in one hit

Except it isn’t when acceleration or speed is questioned, someone posted that there is a warning somewhere that above 20,000ft you can accidentally go supersonic without being in afterburner.
