I just tested the F-15i.
With full tanks (CTF + 3FT), full fuel load, and + 4 a-a missiles (2 aim9 + 2 amraam it does 1650 km/h at sea level and then breaks the wings.
Then tested empty and slick F-15A with 10 minutes of fuel does 1450 km/h maximum, and empty and slick F-15C 1497 km/h.

If they really wanted to force 220s on the f15e why not make the 220s stock and the engine upgrade module be the 229s? @Smin1080p_WT do we see a compromise there that’s reasonable there?

nah dude they just avoide senstive matters like Pcats i have seen CMs (community managers) commenting left and right on diffrent subjects except on this post we have goten one massage 5 days ago saying we are speaking internaly and 0 words since

I don’t think they are ignoring it. These guys can only relay information that they have gotten from the devs back to us. If the devs have nothing to say about it the CMs also can’t say anything. I asked Smin in the R&R thread earlier and he did respond:

There could be a compromise of removing the HMD/S from the F-15E. The one we have is likely an early variant. F-15Es didn’t have JHMCS until the Suite 9 in 2017.

but it is historical. Israel did integrated the DASH System into their aricraft in the mid 90s. We only did tests with ours.

it would be really funny if it didnt tho. it is pretty funny watching everyone complain about “muh historical accuracy”, while half of the israeli jets dont have any of their domestic weapons nor can half of them carry AIM-9M (this is not me saying the python 4 would be balanced please dont yell at me).

Nah Israel should get some form of standoff weapons like their spice bombs and the US should get the -229 engines.
That is probably the most fair option. The extra countermeasures are only somewhat useful in air RB, but even then 240 are already a good amount.

The ALE-58 (LAU-138 / BOL-IR) is still an option for the F-15E though, so it should have access add-on dispensers, just like the other F-15s.
