Their reasoning to not give the F-15E the 229s is as stated “We did not want the F-15E to outshine the F-15C as an air to air platform, we want the F-15E to serve mainly as a strike aircraft” If this was the case then in what world does it make sense to give the F-15I the 229s, there is clearly an F-15C in that tech tree, but it seems to only be an issue when it comes to the american tree?

Its not nerfing a a plane, Its the correct engine for the squadron skin in game. The SU27 and R77 are nerfed into the ground, They should perform at high alt the same if not better than 120A/C… I still use it and make it work, yeah it sucks, Its a game tho. They are giving unique jets to different trees. Its not a big deal, secondly…The FM prob isnt even done. Cant wait to hear you guys cry when you get the 229 and it absolutely tanks the TWR.

Okay it seems like you don’t know much of what you’re talking about even when you have 6 trees grinded, first off, I responded to that same comment about the skin the F-15E has earlier, most planes in the game come with multiple skins from different eras/squadrons, a default skin for a plane has never determined the characteristics of that vehicle. Also the Su-27 and R-77 aren’t nerfed at all, the Su is a decent 1 circle fighter, despite how large it is, it’s not beating something like a gripen or J-10 unless you get lucky but I’d say its flight model is pretty well done, and the R-77 was never going to be a better bvr missile than the 120, It’s fins cause more drag and it pulls harder, it sacrifices range for g limit.

Them nerfing the F-15E affects you in no way so ofc you wouldn’t share the frustration, but to call anyone complaining a baby over it is just pretty ignorant

Exactly, and I didn’t even mention, if we were basing the F-15E off a squadron that used the 220 engines, then why would the plane have hmd and gbu 39s, they’re clearly picking and choosing what they want to give to the vehicle, it was never based on the squadron of the plane

2006 weapons with outdated engines, the 229’s where produced and installed specifically because the CFTs and upgraded airframes where heavier, not giving the 15E its 229’s while giving the 15I the engines is one of the most stupid decisions i have ever seen gaijin do
there is literally no other reason other then to gimp an american plane to possibly add a later variant or god forbid sell a premium down the line

additionally, this is a document i have seen the bug report mods throwing around to “disprove” the 229’s being needed on the f15E
i have not been able to locate this document anywhere and am half convinced its either fake or really old, anyone able to locate it?
