I’d like to see some of these mystical pics of 15Es without CFTs on deployment. And not a 15E with CATMs during training.
Asked my WSO buddies too and they’ve never heard of nor seen it outside of training.
Exact reason it cant be done in DCS.

Once again this sounds like a case of regulation vs actual capabilties.
I know of nothing on the F-15E that would directly stop them from flying without the CFTs, now, are there F-15Es actively flying combat sorites without them, I doubt it, but its not something that I am aware it cant do.

This is also war thunder after all, if a vehicle is capable of X but it is frowned upon it should be allowed, eg every single plane in game would be g limited for lifespan reasons, yet, everyone can pull to their airframe’s limit because the game is a game, we aren’t running home to have a crew chief scream at us for bending the wings upwards.

Same way the F-15C can add and remove the cfts as it pleases, I see no reason why the E wouldn’t be able to, it’s just uncommon because it requires the cfts to take basically all of its air to ground weaponry

USA has the best top tier air right now. Let a smaller nation have something nice and stop pouting. Its absurd how much you people cry. They are literally getting almost the same jet but a little slower. Now maybe in sim and BVR people will have a chance. I have US, its OP AF.

“A little slower” Buddy the F-15I has more thrust stock than the E does fully spaded, if you wanna see the actual difference in thrust and acceleration then watch MatAWG’s video testing it
