No, Its not that big of a deal. I have USA and Isreal but I play Russia and France…I dont require the best every update. You dont even know if the F15I is gonna have a horrible TWR when the FM is done… You guys are up in arms over a dev server jet… Think about that…

Python 4 is too much. Until the game gets a huge overhaul the missiles we have now are just fine.
Because the F-15E is noticeably heavier and slower than the C, seems like a pretty polished fm to me

just cause you got a tree/plane doesn’t make your opinion correct, gaijin has said the 220’s are intentional, we dont like that thus we bitch about it until its finished
even if the FM is corrected on the live server the US tree will still be getting a worst version of its own plane when there are, in fact, a way to make it equal to other trees

The massively increased performance of the 229 engines is a known quantity, and the current weights are correct even if the drag is wrong.
The F-15I will be the best F-15 no contest, it’s bizarre watching people defend clearly greed motivated decisions because “it’s not my problem”

just gonna say this here, from the USAF’s own site on the f15e
“The F100-PW-220 engines can produce 50,000 pounds of thrust (25,000 each) and the F100-PW-229 engines 58,000 pounds of thrust (29,000 each).”
Edit: USAF also states that the f15E is 37,500lbs while the F15C is 31,700lbs
This means the additional 8000lbs of thrust is dramatically more important than what most people think

The US version is getting the 220 though. They are different jets! its really that simple. Remember when the SMT didnt get the RD-33 Series 3, people were mad, and Gaijin added the RD-33 Series 3 only in name and not performance? Thats the snail for ya! It still has just the name not performance.
The E was also retro fitted with the 229, The I had it from when it was built.
No clue why you’re still responding tbh, they are quite literally identical planes used by different nations, like I said earlier, the 229 engine was in service with the F-15E before israel even got a single F-15I exported to them. There’s no justifiable reason to give the better engine to 1 nation and to snuff the other one
