The Gripen E is the lite-Typhoon. Take a Gripen C, give it 3 more hardpoints for AMRAAM/Meteor and a positive TWR. Addon some other bits and pieces like a better radar and defensive suite and its going to be quite a potent aircraft. Typhoon and Rafale will be the more “heavy” hitters, with more missiles, but in WT, all 3 are going to be fairly potent aircraft and which is best will be based entirely upon the scenario.
Though yeah, all 3 will probably artificially nerfed, though just as much to save US face and Soviet face. Neither really have that much that can go toe to toe with them, especially in WVR
Well remember that the su27’s maneuverability is nerfed right now too. I’m not saying if it wasn’t it would be as good as a gripen e but it would be better than the f15.

Just because it has the funny 4 letters doesn’t mean its automatically better. EF’s mechanical radar outperformed the Rafale’s PESA radar by quite some margin.
And yes while you can make the point that it’s French tech, my point stands. PESA and AESA doesn’t automatically mean better in all metrics (just because you get the four funny letters, doesn’t mean its better)
Which says more about the French radar than anything else. I have seen nothing to suggest the EFs mech radar could outdo US AESAs, and certainly not the ones on the US’s ‘heavy’ fighters.
