Beyond that even, the second they realise that every Euro and Sino aircraft will start outperforming the american counterparts with the addition of the J-10s and Eurofighter/Rafale, basically all 4.5 Gens from around the world (bar russian ones since they peak here too) are on par or better than anything that America puts out, it will stay this way forever too since the F-35 will be a more competitive BVR platform than the F-22 and I would much rather take an EFT into a merge than I would a raptor

You need volumetric flares to flare off missiles that use ultraviolet to supplement their infared guidance. If the AIM-9X was added right now the only way to avoid it would be to fly outside of its gimbal limit. Meaning you have to be behind planes that have it. It would be undodgeable if fired at you.
Rafale M F.3R is gonna absolutely murder them, 13 missiles, you can do 6 meteor for long ranges, 4 MICA EMs for Medium and 3 MICA IRs for short.
They’re gonna want the NGAD lmao and B-21 premium to grind it

fr tho, America is so underpowered. I find my MICA’s out ranging AIM-120’s by like 300km in my 300km bvr fights, really depressing tbh.

Being behind an Aim-9X doesn’t save you. They are capable of firing on targets on your six. But hardened flares would be more important meaning people would have to take smaller flare loadouts.
The game would also benefit from non-mixed battles being a regular rotation. Just like we see SB maps, we should also see non-alternate reality battles. It would make the game fun to get to fight migs and SU-27s. Take away multi-pathing for any missile that isn’t effected IRL by it. Give us non-mixed battles. Let the players enjoy some true way it was intended fights.
