Does anyone else have this issue? I see players always saying they get top br but this NEVER happens to me! what are the current “sweet spot” br’s that will give you better odds? I have some linups i really enjoy but it hardly makes sense to run them when i know ill be facing superior counterparts every game.
10.0 or 10.7 has been a sweet spot for me
BR popularity during queue time will increase or decrease likelihood of downtiers.
Example:
You are playing 6.0.
If 7.0 is a rare BR, and 5.0 is a rare BR, 6.0 will be uptiered more often on average.
If 7.0 is a popular BR, and 5.0 is a popular BR, 6.0 will be downtiered more often than average.
9.3/9.7 air is a bracket I always avoid in ARB, but no idea for ground.
9.3 sucks for ground, too many 10.0/10.3 prems. You can maybe get away with 9.0, but 8.7 is a sweet spot. Which also means that 7.7 is a black hole for uptiers as well.
6.3/6.7 is pretty good, lots of tigers and stuff filling the queue.
4.7 is also pretty good because lots of good lineups are around that BR, and now the tigers are 6.0 you arent dragged into what used to be the 5.7 tiger black hole.
The only BRs in GRB I generally conciously try to avoid are 9.3 and 7.7.

Sounds like you’ve got a vehicle pulling you into higher BR games. Last time a complaint like this was made, the guy had a 8.0, 8.3, 8.3 and then a 9.7 SPAA and couldn’t figure out why they kept getting up tiered from 8.3 into 10.7 games.
I play 3.3-7.7 ground and I find the distributions of my tank being bottom/even/top BR in games is pretty even.
9.3 9.7 ground is extremely fun when you arent facing anything in 10.3 which i think they need to decompress ground up to like 12.7 .which would make that area much more fun
I do agree, air has been decompressed 2.0 above ground, and ground deserves it as well.
Yeah i have a few 9.3-9.7 lineups that i love to play, but the premium spam just sucks them up every game.
9.3 uptiers are like KV-1E uptiers but you have a better gun for what you’re facing.
9.3 is great.
The only times I ever had >40% downtiers (0.7-1.0 BR down) were Italian ground 4.7, 7.0, and 9.0
I main britain so Ill give what br’s work best for that.
4.7, lots of downtiers, 17 pounder is nice too
6.0, get put down to 5.3 a lot bc tigers :3
7.3, Fv4202 sits there, can’t get put up to 8.7 and gets put into a lot of 6.7 games
8.7, A little bit less reliable but a good chance for any kind of downtier, good lineup too
10.3, by far the worst choice but around a 50/50 chance for a downtier which isn’t the worst
Tippy top tier, can’t go higher so duh.

10.0 air is almost always a 9.3 game. Super fun as long as you’re not playing 9.3 ;)
To be honest BR position is just random with the limitations of the 4 top BR per team and numbers of players queuing said BRs/nations (which you can only guess via the Queue screen).
Each player gets varying experience as the MM tries to fill matches of nations/BRs.
Every time I am bottom BR someone is at top BR. When it rains things get wet!
