The non WE 140mm Leopard 2 would be a perfectly adequate glass cannon vehicle for top tier, too.
The Leopard MLUs would also be completely adequate for 12.3 with an optics upgrade and DM53, yes I’m aware the armour package was not actually a composite screen, even so they are not dissimilar to the Leopard 2A5.
Not to mention, in terms of future MBTs, Austria is looking very, very likely to be buying Leo 2A8s, while currently also undertaking a thorough refit of their 2A4s which is yet to be revealed.

Slovenia ist part of the Alpine region too if we want a alpine tech tree and i dont think Monaco or Lichtenstein would make any more sense its the only other alpine country that would have at least something.
