As a standalone TT? Probably very low chance on its lonesome; Austrian vehicles might make it more competitive, but I doubt it. I’m still hoping we see some of the more unique vehicles pop up; I for one would absolutely love to see all of the Mowag Shark variants added. The lower-tier stuff would be neat as well, vehicles such as: Pzw 39, Radpanzer M6, Nahkampfkanone 1 and 2, G.13 (base and with the Pak 51), Panzer 57, Panzer 58, Panzer 61, Panzer 68, Oerlikon-Bührle Vierlings-Flabpanzer, and the MOWAG Radpanzer, just to name a few.

Eh, I mean they’ve got some stuff. And just looking at the proposed TT, it seems like they’d slot in nicely. That said, since Switzerland is a Sub TT rn, I frankly have no idea where they’d even stick Austria at this point. Germany is out considering what happened last time they tried to. Ditto with France since they have BeNeLux.

I vaguely recall there was also some Austrian opposition to it because of… certain historical events. But yeah, I mean I can somewhat understand the French point being they’re still waiting for the AMX-13/105 and in the meantime Germany got both the Marder DF105 and an Argentine SK105.

no germany was planned to get the austrian sk105,
They switched to the argentinian one as an emergency matter, after the french complained.
The funny thing for me still is for the DF105 is gajin saying their own version is planned, but it never appeared after they gave them the df105.
Either way, dunno about austrians reactions, i mostly was told about the french having a meltdown
Austria would be fine in Germany to make a alpine tree/Dach area only issue is space Germany is kinda full.

Switzerland has more than enough to stand on its own as a tech tree, especially when you consider an Austrian sub tree alongside. Shoving it into an already full Germany is a collosal waste of a huge amount of unique and interesting equipment.
