Only half true: Some of them (4 out of 8) started their life as one-seaters in the Swedish Air Force, then were transformed into two-seater T.68 in the UK and sold to Switzerland. That’s what I was playing at… ;-)

Here J-4205, first of the four ex-Flygvapnet Hunters turned Hunter Trainer and sold to Switzerland, with me in the passenger seat:

Also how come you got to fly in a Hunter? I didn’t know Switzerland still operated them as trainers.

Three two seaters used to be privately owned after leaving air force service and were used for passenger flights. Sadly, by now they have all been sold abroad… = (

The flight was a gift from my parents for my PhD.
