Alpine Aviation Tech Tree

Yes, but at the same time they should also have fixed the armament. Like this it’s quite a nerf, going only one side…

Still frankensteined - not as bad as before, but still unauthentic…

Note: at the same BR we have aircraft with IFF/Look Down capable PD radar and up to six AAM’s, including all aspect IR AAMs and SARH AAMs…

The NF-5A has become quite a problem as well, having basically the same characteristics as the F-5E (in fact it can outperform it in some situations according to other threads I have seen on it) whilst being the same BR as the F-5C which is worse in literally every aspect (though don’t get me wrong that plane is still good in itself)

Are you sure it wouldn’t be better if you just gave it to Germany, france, Sweden and others. Too much copy paste, i don’t feel like adding all countries makes sense. Does their ground vehicles at least are unique enough from beginning to the end? I can accept half copy paste but not more.

Why on earth would Sweden get a Swiss sub tree? Germany already has one for air and to be honest could do with at least an 8.3 panzer 68 for ground, since it’s one of few trees that doesn’t get a tech tree stabiliser for 8.3

Option 1) You know swedish planes for Sweden, french for France, German for Germany and so on… like you can just give different camouflages as grindable or for gold, because why not, instead of adding copy paste aircrafts. You know as separate vehicles if there is copy paste but has different wepons.

Option 2) Another option is to give to German TT vehicles from all German speaking countries, but only unique ones.

Gajing won’t add all countries fully to WT ever, so better would be adding only the most important manufacturers, that is why i support korea, turkey and India.

In my opinion simply unique vehicles from Austria and Switzerland would fit well German TT to not spam copy paste vehicles too much.

Important manufacturers make hulls, airframes and turrets, munition used and bought by a lot of countries in world. Cockreil turret (i probably spelled it wrong) is very common as well some other turrets, many vehicles like F-16, MiGs, bmp, Humvee, CV hull, is very common.

I have nothing against modified vehicles, but if you want new independent TT, make sure it has at least half very unique vehicles or highly modified.

Does ground vehicles are more unique than aviation at least? I believe they are for sure, question how much.

I see that austria is producent of Pandur which is quite popular and often bought chassis, equipped by many countries with different turrets. There is tons of demonstrator variants, by not austria but also others.

you did not even answer anything:
Sweden still has nothing to do with switzerland pretty much.

Switzerland is a german subtree thats it.

Was going down the list again; there’s honestly a ton of stuff they could add to the mainline German TT. The early rearmed Swiss Bf 109s and the hybrid Bf-109D/E, for example. The various Doflug D.3800-oids would be neat, as would the MS.406H (though only having two 7.5s would be quite painful). P-51D and P-51K with the Swiss suspended armament might be somewhat neat as premiums. Definitely need a TT P-16 variant, as well as the N-20-10.

Don’t forget the Swiss Venom, with the same Oerlikon 8.1cm rockets.

Oh right, that too; IIRC, there’s also a Swiss Vampire with a Venom nose that would be cool.

I personally quite like your idea. I’m gonna have to put some research into Austrian vehicles but I know the Panzer 68 would help plug a hole in German 8.3 ground.

You’d also probably be able to use the Panzer 58 and 61 to help plug the gap left by the removal of the Panther II.

So what is point of this topic, yes i noticed Switzerland is already subtt for Germany. Seriously for what this topic? Austria also can be subtt for Germany.

The topic was made before the swiss subtree was a thing.
So there you got your answer.
Its pretty much only mostly used to discuss swiss/austrian vehicles at this point.

Of course there is a possibility it might become its own in the far far future. But is unlikely

But I don’t see what Swedish planes were used by Switzerland.

Yep, might even help with getting new German players used to playing in lighter vehicles, which is quite a problem at the 7.3-8.0 BR range

Saab

I believe your thinking of Austria. Austria used SAAB-105OE, J-29F and J-35 OE MK I and II from what I recall.
