Alpine Aviation Tech Tree

The criticism was mainly due to the presentation showing Slovenia off as a part of the tree, which isn’t the case here, having their flag and name on the front of the proposal as opposed to just Austria and Switzerland.
While in the old ground post it didn’t include many Slovenian vehicles either, it still gave off the impression that Slovenia would’ve been meant to partake in the tree as a whole. Such isn’t the case here.

I solved the problem thanks to the great help of the moderators!

No.

Because if you would go down that lane you could also add A-7, F-16, M2000, Rafale, …

Also, I see little reason to add PC-7 and PC-9 to the mix: those trainers would be difficult to balance with little to zero usefulness in the game…

Well, looking at the Mi-24A, AHS and T 80U that were released into the game for being proposed to Sweden, it seems that it is probably at the whim of Comrade Anton.

Well, they will perform very well as attackers.

Terrible rebuttal

The G.91YS was intended for the Swiss Airforce, never the Italian Airforce. Also the Swiss Airforce inspite of cancelling the order for their Gripens did train their pilots on leased Gripens for a few years, Austria is interested in acquiring the JAS-39 to replace their fleet of Eurofighter Typhoons so we may get the Gripens in the Alpine TT anyways.

Sorry, but that’s really not true.

Swiss pilots (if plural is even correct here: I only know one, Fabio “Fanta” Antognini, and had the chance to talk with him for a bit a few years ago) spent quite some time in Sweden during the evaluation and after - until the Gripen purchase was vetoed by the Swiss voters - but there were certainly no Gipens “leased”!

The number of voters increased by nearly 20 in three days. And the approval rate decreased from 65% to 55%. It seems a bit strange.

Same happened in the Yugoslav suggestion, it’s a petty thing that just happens sometimes with tree suggestions.
Had it before with an explosion of 50 voters too, which means that ~70 votes there are raiders xd

I’ld love to see the Swiss tech tree. Its unlike to happen, as none of the aircrafts or tanks that were used by Switzerland can be copy&paste, as all have Swissness in them ;)

Two things that are missing or I haven’t seen them

  1. The Hunter was used as ground attacker in Swiss Airforce. It hat rockets and AGM-65 Maverick
  2. Mirage III RS, although being reconnaissance, it is armed with sidewinders and cannons

From livery perspective, the Mirage III RS farewell Black&White would be great

If you look at the DE/UK/US line you will find Hunter and its variants. And I haven’t been able to update because I’ve been busy lately, but I’ll be adding IIIRS and other aircraft to the tree in about a month. :)

The illustration work is finished. I will add content to the text as soon as possible. :D

Nice illustrations

It reminds me of the Old TT proposals

Also here is a PC-7 operated by the Mexican Airforce

Mexico’s PC-7 is not much different from the PC-7OE, and since there are already AT-92s and Chad’s PC-7s, no other PC-7 series will be added. :)
