yeah because you can really spot a SAM in the air while you’re looking in the scope to find targets…
If You managed to gather enough SP in order to spawn a plane on a B.R. where SAMs can fire missles and hit You at 15km distace, You should know that one can be on place and not fly in a straight line waiting to be shoot.
The last time I tried getting into a Pe-8 with the FAB-5000 (for a BP challenge), “all” I had to do was: capture one zone, get one kill and get a combination of a kill assist + the scout assist for the same target.
All of this gave me a mere surplus of 10 SP above the amount required for the spawn after it had already been reduced due to the scout assist.
And let me guess, You weren’t trying to spawn PE-8 as soon as possible doing a proper tactic to get it?
I can say that I want to play air in GFRB mode and then do everything that is opposed to it. Or I can do what any person who wants to use air will do.
First game test: 2 kills - able to spawn into PE-8, P-47 with bombs.
Second game test: 1 cap (already able to spawn P-47 with bombs), a couple of hits on enemy tank and I was able to spawn PE-8
I wasn’t using scouting mechanics in any game.
Edit:
And now I used scouting mechanic with Asu-57:
1 assist without scouting mechanic, one with - I’m able to spawn with Pe-8
Meaning being able to spawn PE-8 means that I can spawn with 5000kg bomb
It’s not even CAS it’s the helicopters- they should reverse the spawn points requirements from CAS to helis. Those things have super HD laser guided thermals that lob missiles for 580pts. A lot of them are premium and don’t require an entire tree of grinding to get
Yes, I was, I rushed straight for the cap with the ASU-57 and did everything to accumulate SP as fast as possible.
And only after a cap, kill and “double” assist, I had just enough SP, I guess, you were in a full uptier, if it took you less.
These circumstances are nothing to rely on though.
Oh, and btw…in that match I was able to drop four FAB-5000, because for the entire duration of the match not one enemy decided to spawn a fighter or SPAA to take me down.
I can give detailed instruction on how to get into planes as fast as possible in topic connected to GF RB mode.
In all matches that I took, I was able to drop PE-8 because the enemy would need to recreate my tactic in order to stop me and they didn’t.
A clean fighter, which can easily intercept a Pe-8 takes 300+ SP less to spawn, which makes it quite a bit easier to get into. ;)
Also I am fully aware of how to get into the vehicle I want to use quickly. ;)
As you can see, I picked the same TD, you picked, but since I obviously was in a downtier, whereas you lucked out, I had to do quite a bit more to get the required SP.
The first two test were in BT-5. Reserve tank cost only 50 SP and by having any 5.3 plane in line-up, PE-8 will only cost 712 SP. After capping a zone and doing a few hits, You are already able to spawn in it. In order for someone to be able to stop You, he will need to do C&F before You spawn in PE-8.
