Recently I checked my squadron vehicles research list, and I found that there are about 300,000 research points that are stuck in vehicles which I won’t research any more. While I can keep active to earn more research points, I can’t make use of those spent ones unless I research those vehicles again.
The reason for a player to choose a specific squadron vehicle for research varies, for example, he/she may choose a vehicle to add it into the current lineup in Ground battles, or he/she recognizes its performance in one game mode. However, the player may also choose to give up researching the vehicle halfway, because the vehicle has been nerfed or its BR adjusted, influncing its performance in game, or simply the player decides to choose vehicles of another nation or branch. For the player, given that he/she has remained active in this process, he should retain the right to freely dispose of these squadron research points.
You may compare my suggestion with allowing the transfer of research xps between vehicles of the same branch of TT of the same nation. However, there is a key difference between them that the research xps may be influnced by the rules of researching penalties between different ranks, and there is the fact that one player will eventually have to research most vehicles on TT to reach the top tier. For squadron vehicles, however, the player may not be interested in vehicles from some nations or branches, therefore it is not essential for them to research and purchase those vehicles.
I have posted this article in the Suggestion-MM/Eco/Prog section a week ago, but it seems that such time isn’t enough for gaijin to read this page and make any changes to it, so it is necessary for me to post it here.
