In the just completed F-14A IRIAF event, one of the rewards for completing the last stage was 4 x random modifications.
Unfortunately this reward cannot be used unless the vehicle coupon is consumed and added to your account, which makes the modifications reward useless for anyone who opts to used the coupon upgrade and make the vehicle tradable.
My suggestion is that the random modifications reward sit in some sort of chest, which can then be claimed and added to the Inventory for future use.
Then if for example someone decided in a few weeks/months that they want to keep the vehicle (or buy one from the market), the modifications can be applied.
It could work in a similar way to other chests that we collect during gameplay where we need to buy keys to open, except in this case we have the modifications, but need to buy or obtain the vehicle to use them.
This idea could potentially extend to other vehicles on the tech tree where we obtain a random chest drops after a battle containing modifications for a vehicle we donβt yet own.
That would encourage players to grind for that vehicle and aid the progression a little once they get there.
Thanks
