Good luck getting level 57? on the battlepass, completing your daily tasks, completing your special medals so you could get your one bush per 3 months by just playing for fun.
Is 50+ Special Tasks medals in the Warbond shop difficult? Most of my Battle Pass levels are maxed around the end of the Battle Pass.
I want to repeat that players are not getting just a bush in 3 months; you can potentially earn premium vehicles, tailsmen, camouflage, decals, etc. within that 3 month period. All those add up to a potential value worth around 2k–3k GE (I calculated this before). I have already earned multiple premium vehicles, bushes, and tailsmen this way.
50+ special tasks medals isn’t what I would call easy, no… especially not if you’re supposed to play for fun and not for the grind, yet you have to specifically play to complete tasks for months.
Players are not getting a bush in 3 months no, because it’s no longer available in the shop, and even if it was, that’s still 1 bush for 3 months of grinding, which is ridiculous, whilst being coerced to spend more money on the battlepass and whatnot in the proces… and then do it another 5 times, again all assuming the bushes were available, which they are not.
I still don’t see how people think this is reasonable.
Spend more money on the Battle Pass? I think I have earned more from the Battle Pass than I have spent on it consistently. Most of those Battle Pass vehicles can sell for up to 40-50 Gaijin coins, which translates to around 10k GE (5 times the cost of getting the Battle Pass). You can use that GE you bought using the Gaijin coins you earned from selling the previous Battle Pass vehicles to buy the bushes (more than enough to get 6 bushes). All of these can be done in 3 months. No offence, but I really fail to see how this is not beneficial.
Furthermore, 50+ Special Task medals are absolutely doable. I missed out on up to one full week during one Battle Pass season, and I still managed to get to the full Warbond Store level upgrade way before the Battle Pass season ends. The Battle Pass is 90 days (that is, 90 potential Special Tasks), and you can miss out on up to 40 Special Tasks, which is almost half.
Not only ground. ULQ also reduces visibility in air battles which makes it really difficult. Sometimes aircrafts dont render if they are in front of a cloud.
Some people think ULQ gives people major advantages but thats not true.ULQ makes far objects completely pixelated which makes spotting tanks really difficult. I wont lie it does reduce some shadows which helps in some situations but spotting pixelated tanks is a difficult job even with no shadows. Disadvantages of ULQ are far greater than the advantages.
I don’t think the amount of time you spend on the game is anywhere near average, 50 special tasks is playing 50 out of 90 days, completing all the dailies and completing the special medal every single one of those days, that is a lot of hours.
A newer player is also going to lack the tools to complete these tasks, as well as BP challenges.
You are right about this; except that the amount of time I spend on the game is far less than average (averaged at 1 hour per day).
Like RazerVon has pointed out, 50 Special tasks take around 25 to 100 hours, depending on the difficulty and how well you play (a Special task such as Efficiency: 2,500 mission points, 3 wins, takes me 3 to 4 matches on average to complete). However, I complete 50 Special tasks over the course of 90 days; that is a little over 1 hour per day, even if you take 100 hours to complete 50 Special tasks. 2 hours to complete 1 Special task is a lot of time. On average, 1 match takes around 10 to 20 minutes, which is 6 matches at the minimum or 12 matches at the maximum.
By the way, even if the player chooses not to purchase the Battle Pass, each Battle Pass offers a premium vehicle for free. Those vehicles often sell for around 20 Gaijin coins if the player waits a bit. This translates to 2,500 GE, which can get the player 5 bushes every 3 months. Earning 5 bushes in 3 months is better than before (back then it will take the player 5 months before the implementation of Battle Pass). So it really confuses me when you say it takes years to earn them.
I am not sure what “tools” you are referring to. All you need is a good rank III lineup to complete the tasks and decent skills in the game mode you play. A rank III lineup is not hard to grind at all (one week at the very maximum). Skills at playing are really personal improvements, and it is impossible to blame the game for them. Everyone went through the learning curve at some point. :)
If you get very fortunate tasks and get lucky, 20 minutes seems the absolute optimal time as it’s just 2 missions, and not the average time, there are a lot of really demanding tasks, and rerolling also has a lot of repeating tasks until you end up spending GE to reroll at some point.
Special medals are even more demanding and time consuming, often time gated in the form of winning missions.
Then from the perspective of a newer player some tasks are outright impossible because the tasks are stupid and not adjusted in years now, getting tasks for heavy tanks when you might play a nation that doesn’t even have them.
I don’t see how you would play 1 hour a day and complete 2 daily tasks that take 20-30 minutes at best and then a special medal in 30 minutes with how demanding they can be, and do that consistently for 50 days.
Even if we assume you do that, it’s not realistic for a newer player as that is the perspective we’re looking at for them to obtain bushes through the WB, assuming they are available.
To get a coupon for the free vehicle your BP needs to be like 105? That also requires a lot of dedication, daily logins and completing challenges on top of the dailies, on top of the special task medals all in a matter of 1-2h a day, even with this, in my opinion, extremely low estimate of time, I don’t think even this is reasonable to spend 1-2 hours a day, every single day for months.
Here you’re also giving up on the other WB vehicles and things to spend your money on, for something that shouldn’t even be in the game to begin with.
On the last BP I got to like level 15 or so, maybe 20 without specifically grinding out all the tasks and not playing the game for days or weeks at a time.
And by tools I mean vehicles, dailies require specific vehicles, light, heavy, medium, TDs, SPAA, something you can’t find in every nation, BP challenges requires a variety of vessels as well with varying calibers, torpedos as well as planes with rockets or bombs depending on the task, and always a task that ensures all these players are screwed because of the mandatory top tier requirement for the last task.
The thing is, I did not complete the Special task for the current day. I completed the Special task from yesterday.
You earn 1 purchase towards a Special task in the Warbond shop the moment you complete 2 Daily tasks for the day. However, when I purchase that Special task, I do not complete it right away. I saved it for tomorrow. This way, I can complete Daily tasks and Special tasks at the same time.
Like I have already mentioned, you only need to complete around 50 out of 90 Special tasks to get the Warbond shop upgraded to the maximum level. So you have about 2 days to complete 1 Special task (which is around 2 hours to complete 1 Special task). This is more than enough.
Yes, but every completion of the 2 Daily tasks plus 1 Special task gives you 1 level upgrade (around 50 levels if you complete 50 Special tasks). This, coupled with the increasing number of points you gained during log-in throughout the 90 days (which is around 25 levels) and completing around 10 out of 14 Battle Pass challenges (which is around 30 levels), means that getting to level 105 is not hard at all.
It seems to me that there is some prejudice here against players who use bushes. I already explained the best reasonable way for free-to-play players to earn bushes effectively in 3 months, and you are still complaining about how you are giving up other WB vehicles and things to spend that money on. Remember, all of these things we are discussing here can be earned for free. If you want one thing for free, of course you make sacrifices for other things. If you want everything for free, of course you are going to wait and earn it one by one. This is fair and makes perfect sense for players who are actually spending money to get them.
Do you mean the last Battle Pass? If that is the case, you should really ask around for effective ways of grinding them. 90 days and getting to only level 15 is very ineffective (and it will show me you are barely actively logging in as well).
I did not play at all in the last Battle Pass (zero playing in the last 90 days), but I got to around level 25 simply by logging in every day.
bruh that isn’t even a realistic statement. I think a majority of players like 94% has grass turned off lol nothing like trying tp peak a hill or use binoculars, but you have wheat or tall grass blocked your view :)
Are you crazy? You just said that this bushes are cosmetic that they cant give you advantage and then you asking for turn them off… Just why? At first, they help a little, second, its that thing in the game which you can buy for golden eagles, then its just another pricy option like premium machines. Then lets disable prem airplanes and tanks…
