Allow ammo refill in spawn

Most guided munitions do, this is realism.

spaa can move, which is the issue, if i could just drop a couple bombs at a pantsir from a mile or 2 away it would be fair because I would only have to expose myself for a fraction of the current time. The pantsir has stabilizers on the sides for a reason. It absolutely should not be able to move while accurately firing 4 20mils at me along with what… 70g missiles (im exaggerating)? Even just make it inaccurate while firing on the move but its near impossible to even hurt one. Also, the shilka and the one with missiles are very deadly, but I was wrong by saying that they outrange. They are very effective up close but most of the things that the br they are at dont have long-medium range munitions. Its mostly bombs and guns except for the couple mclos(or similarly guided) missile.

If you want to talk about realism, Us F14,15,16,18,35 and more have been able to effectively counter real anti air with things that arent in the game. Do not get me started with the “realism” bs

Yes, one day Gaijin may add anti-radiation missiles.

Currently SPAA is limited to SHORAD, because of this longer range air to ground weapons would be extremely unbalanced.

currently the spaa in game can fire 12 miles away. lets think of how close aircraft spawn in. ohh its in that range, aint that something. what is your point? shorad is the only necessary thing in game right now. Everything happens within the spaa aoa?

Only issue is that it won’t fix spawn camping.

I did not state we should add longer range SPAA. I said if anti radiation missiles were added or more longer range air to ground missiles it would necessitate longer range SPAA.

CAS should be forced to spawn on the airfield, yes.

haha very funny. The maps are too small for planes to have a chance. You are losing to the point where you can’t even form an argument that doesn’t repeat what I have already shot down. Bring up something else that isn’t your sad attempt at a joke or something that is clearly incorrect or go play with your 2s6

If you want to play CAS by flying in a straight line believe it or not Gaijin has added weaponry that allows you to do just that.

That could be easily abused. Someone could hide in a spawn and snipe/hide, and be unkillable.

@SinisterIsRandom True, but thats a separate issue. Spawncamping when your team is all dead is inevitable. Spawncamping at the start of the match should be prevented in some way.

Yes, if those spawn trapping someone aren’t careful, the enemy team could even turn the game around…

F-14, F-15, F-16, F-18, F-35?. Unsure whatever u said.

That would be nice and a great benefit for SPAAs.

To return to the original point of the thread, I wanted to contribute some anecdotes.
Playing the Leclerc, it has happened multiple times on maps where spawn to spawn sniping is possible, that I would get ammo racked, but the blow out panels would prevent me from dying. In essence, dooming me to just stay alive for a few more seconds. It is incredibly frustrating that one could get ammo racked right after they spawn, and the gameplay mechanic requires them to ‘fight’ their way to a capture point. Or, that one should take the back seat, and hope their teammates are good enough to capture a point for long enough to rearm. Perhaps this is just going to be the downside of blowout panels, but to me it seems like a huge handicap in occasions like that.

You can see the exact same thing occur to me in my screenshot, my team corralled like pigs dying and after breaking out losing my ammo in a trade with a Leo 2A4.

The constraint of capturing a point to rearm isn’t applied to helicopters or aircraft. It just does not make sense with the game’s own logic.

SPAA rearm is a planned feature in some form according to the roadmap. I don’t know if this will have an equivalent feature to rearm all vehicles while inside spawn, but it’s what I would like to see rather than just allowing SPAAs to self rearm.

i can kill a shilka with a 109…

plan accordingly to… your entire team folding and being alone in your spawn

I agree but, only if the rearmament in the cap gets removed.

Because resupply in the combat zone makes little sense. It makes more sense for a vehicle to have to fall back to rearm.

I would be perfectly happy with this trade off and as you say it would be more realistic. Hell it might even discourage spawn camping since you have to return to yours if you wish to stay at full fighting capability.
