So rare to see people acknowledge this BS especially the Vikhr stuff. The Spikes recently got buffed for anti-heli duty, but US helis have been literally helpless against Kamovs and Havoc for so long that it has to be personal at this point.
There’s a few things they could do;
- Add the Spike NLOS as trialed by the AH-64D /-64E.
- Add the AH-66.
- Add the APKWS II’s APAM warhead & Proximity fuse equipt variant.
- Overhaul the FIM-92 entirely, by actioning the reports about the Maneuverability, Contrast Seeker & increased lock on range reports.
- Add later ATAS variants (FIM-92C & -92E)
- Action report(s) for the AIM-9M; #1, #2.
But none of these things really add up to a truly significant material improvement in position for them, though.
Stinger fix or Spike would fix the issue, but they’re unlikely to fix the Stinger lock range because it would threaten the steady P2W revenue from Ka50. Would absolutely love the AH-66 to be in the game, favorite heli of all time
Do you know if the 114L could be used against helis? I know only russian vehicles are allowed to lock through smoke but I’m just curious, seems it’s ground only irl
The Longbow hellfire can be used in an anti-aircraft role IRL. It won’t be hitting a fast jet, but helicopters are well within capabilities of the missile. That’s why some Longbow hellfire variants come with proximity fuses and are offered as options for the Stryker M-SHORAD weaponry.
Probably, the Rotors produce a distinctive Doppler shift return, so it’s not like they could notch the missile. and there are variants fitted with a proximity fuse for C-UAS duties, which is obviously an Anti-Air role.

I play on 12.0 and there is practically no clickbait there anymore and the situation there is even worse, out of 20 battles there are only 3-4 victories.
The problem is the weak armor of the Abrams and the imbalance of Soviet tanks, in order for the Abrams to destroy a Soviet tank you need to spend a couple of seconds targeting weak points, and in order for a Soviet tank to hit the Abrams, you just need to shoot everything below the turret.
Today I played and half of my team destroyed a Su-34 with a Su-33, the killchat was simply bursting with lists of killed equipment. And this happens all the time. ADATS either cannot keep up with the aircraft or simply does not see the aircraft.
SDB II is in the files. God help ground forces of every other ingame nation that doesn’t get F-35 with SDB II, wait, that’s all of them!
GBU-53/B can be used by F-15E and F/A-18E/F Super Hornet currently.
Well at this point the only ways to fix US sub 30percent win-rate is remove to US TT from the game

Used to have a deep hatred for the map, then noticed I could use insane reaction times on the road which cuts through the entire map and camp the whole game there, usually results in 5-6 kills.

tbf all of the vehicles mentioned are heavily nerfed in game
HSTVL missing ammunition and ammunition in game underpreforms (and does like no post pen)
Stryker having too long of reload and incorrect gun depression over the sides
ADATS has a whole list of missing features and incorrect values (eg in game 18 degrees of radar elevation compared to around 70 irl)
and finally the abrams has incorrectly modeled turret ring (accepted bug report a few years ago) and incorrectly modeled hydraulic system that would prevent traverse from shots that shouldnt and a bunch of other small inaccuracies that hurt its in game performance (including more accepted bug reports that havent been fixed)
Yes, Gaidzins speed up reloading, but they improved a number of Abrams parameters and also raised their combat rating. Before the reload buff, I played better at 120 than now. Now the Abrams is a sieve that, with any hit, either explodes or inflicts critical damage that blocks the turret.
i dont really play GRB because its a shite gamemode entirely based on randomness where skill does not matter, but from what ive read, most nations have broken tanks with incorrect stats and modules, yet it seems us players are uniquely bad at the game, this also translates in ARB by the way, US teams literally melt on the first merge

imma make a guess and say you dont actually have any top tier
because US winrates accross gamemodes are shit, and us players are trash accross all BR ranges? I mostly play 10.0 to 12.0 and ARB suffers from shit us teams just like GRB does, regardless of the vehicles used.

so you are making stuff up because from 8.7 to 11.3 air RB US winrates are right around 50%
and with a few exceptions all US winrates for air RB are right around 50%
while this post is talking about ground where from 11.3 to 12.0 US winrate drops around 10%

After 6+ years of playing this game. Having at least 5-6 top tier nations and as a US main I am done playing this game until they cut the Bias, RNG mechanic. 9k hours spend the more I try to enjoy playing my favorite nation the more fustrated I get with this game. Yes unfortunally I only like top tier ground and at this point is unplayable.
Once they star matching and rewarding skill player base NOT RNG overpeforming tanks maybe I’ll come back to it.
I am simply done with this people! there are better games at out there.
