The air maps are still based off of WWII dog fighting , and ground on slow tank battles from WW2.
Everything is bunched in the middle of the map for air AB/RB. So if you are in a strike plane trying to use ground munitions you are ether flying a incredibly slow plane that gets over run before getting to the center of the map, or your in a faster moving plane that is being shot at by multiple AHR missiles giving you little to no time to go after ground targets. Because all the ground targets are in the center of the map where all the fighting takes place, and when people see you going after ground targets you become an easy target and get swarmed. Its hard to look for ground targets while dodging 10 missiles and avoiding being shot at by guns.
The ground maps are the same maps that you run into with slower tanks with less accuracy at longer ranges. All the maps were designed with the slower tanks in mind and with modern tanks being more maneuverable, faster, and able to shoot longer distances getting killed quicker leads to people not bothering to respawn in at higher brs unless that have a helicopter or jet to bring in. Its like taking a Ferrari to a go-cart track and wondering why its not going well
I really like all the models and continued updates but with every modern vehicle being added to WW2 style maps is just leading to unplayable higher tier games that are over in 5 min or less further hindering progression in Tech trees.
We need a QL adjustment to the research grind. There are so many vehicles that are being added there is no way for me to get a chance to play them all unless i spend years grinding, or pay an excessive amount of money for a video game. We need things from tier 3 and upward to see a reductions in RP needed for unlocks or need an increased RP payout as you progress higher. Its keeping new players away from the game, or just short term people who buy premium play for a month or two and leave.
