All Russian helis are overbuffed IRCM blocks

Please do explain me why this isn’t a bug, IRCM are at bottom of helis, still you cant lock them from above.

You haven’t really created a bug report. You have sen’t one sentence and an image of the vehicle X-ray. It doesn’t show or prove anything (though i personally believe you are correct).

A guide on how to report bugs can be found here: ([Navigation] Technical Knowledge Base | War Thunder Wiki)

And what about video evidence? Where can I find this technical knowledge on the community.gaijin site? Do I really need to search the entire new and old forums just to learn how to properly report a bug, while others simply write a title and get their reports accepted? Honestly, that feels like an incredibly unprofessional system.

To add to this: why can’t the support team simply include a guide or a link to the guide in the community.gaijin report form, so users immediately know what they specifically need to provide? From practice—and from looking at other reports—it’s clear that many people don’t actually know how to file a proper bug report. The required information is hard to find, especially since it’s buried in the wiki. Really, on the wiki? Why not in the forum? Or better yet, create a dedicated forum section with a clear post explaining how to report bugs, so players can find the information easily.

To add even more: I was actually banned on that site for reporting bugs. How is that even possible in a real-world scenario? This is supposed to encourage users to trust the system and report issues, even if they don’t know every technical detail. It’s the support team’s job to gather as much information as they can and then decide whether the report is valid—not to expect users to collect everything while others do nothing. That’s simply not how things work in real life.

Regardless of that, he’s simply right. :-)

And u know that ;-).

In some cases that can work yes, in others not, depends on the issue being reported.

There is information listed under each category of file you can add to a report. The Link i gave is a comprehensive guide that details step by step what is needed for a bug report, no need to search other places (though i agree that a guide should be present on that site or at least linked to).

I’ve never personally seen this happen. The requirements are also different depending on what it is you’re trying to report.

Agreed. Nothing i can do about that though, i’ve suggested the same.

Send a private message to one of the Technical Moderators to ask about it.

you provided no evidence of locking from above
nothing on the actual limits of the vitebsk IRCM

why wouldn’t you get ignored

Soory but most of categories doesnt have that additional information which is in Wiki like:

In the case of a historical matters, one of the following two points will be required:

  • One primary historical source (User/Factory/Repair Manual, Original handbooks etc)
  • Two secondary sources (Reference works, museums, Biographies, Books, “expert” opinion publications, websites etc)

Only in Ground or other Vehicles there is additional information how to fill something up:
WARNING: Please note! Any information or sources deemed restricted (not cleared for public release) by their respective ownership will not be accepted and will be dealt with according to any legal requirements.

What is appropriate source material for historical issues?

OEM Manuals (primary source): User manuals, repair manuals, factory manuals, operating manuals, technical manuals etc. Single source is required (preferred source).
Authored works (secondary source): Reference books on collections of vehicles/aircraft/ships (‘coffee table books’), biographies, specialist books, “expert” opinion publications, industry magazines etc. At least two unrelated sources required.

You need to provide the following information about the source:

  • Title and if applicable: publication date, document number, ISBN;
  • Author or organisation;
  • Image of the cover;
  • Images of all the referenced pages and their page numbers;
  • References for photographs;

I’ve never personally seen this happen. The requirements are also different depending on what it is you’re trying to report.

I will write you a dm if i find one because i do clearly remember this happens even in my community there was some rumbling about it.

Ban is already lifted by period,

I didn’t achieved anything with it. So what’s the point?

It does if you select a category that is used for historical issues (like “Ground vehicles” for example).

Often those reports then contain files and additional material that for copyright and/or security/privacy reasons aren’t publicly visible:

Then i would see that as a warning and if you don’t know why you were punished then it might be a good idea to ask so that you don’t repeat the same mistake again.

He’s still not wrong, it’s not like Gaijin doesn’t have a history of being sketchy with bug reports. Sure, he didn’t provide sufficient evidence, but it is something I think all of us have encountered and can collectively agree on

Dude, you’re acting like a troll.
First, we can’t see what year the vehicle is, so how are we supposed to know what equipment that specific model has?
Second, neither of us sees every detail of the report, so claiming otherwise is just ignorance.

So what, are we expected to report things blindly without knowing the vehicle’s edition or year? And if we’re wrong, we get banned for trying to help improve the game? That sounds ridiculous.

“everyone that scrutinises me is a troll”

is the bug report team trolls too?

it’s on the Ka-52 model jesus christ

It’s clear you don’t really understand what we’re talking about. I was banned for reporting Tiger 2 bugs, not Ka-52 issues, but you decided to make assumptions without knowing the situation.
Check.

Let’s please end this conversation, because you seem quite far from what’s actually going on.
Respectfully yours.

I loved it.

It wouldn´t have mattered even if there were a properly written bug report because most of them are just locked anyway.

I’m not telepathic enough to figure out when you’ve completely switched subjects without saying
The Bug Reporting Team also doesn’t work to suit you to do all of your research when you can’t be bothered

get over yourself

Please just stop it :)
