What’s bias is only looking at the pros of a vehicle and ignoring all the negative aspects that bring it down and pretending it’s the best vehicle when no other vehicle has the same qualities, even when those other vehicles are going to have strengths of it’s own, but that falls outside of your parameters.
WMA301 has a 62% win rate in RB. Surprisingly the BMD-4 has a 55% win rate in RB.
That should be enough to show that its at too low of a BR.
Ikv 91 has a 51% win rate, and Ikv 91-105 has a 52% win rate at the same BR.
So if you think we shouldn’t look at its technological advantages how about we just look at its win rate.
Winrates are about lineups, not vehicles.
Ok? And what does win rate mean? Just because German teams lose a lot doesn’t mean that they have horrible vehicles, all of their vehicles are undertiered but nobody is complaining.
Win rates are win rates. Its clearly over performing. If you want to go based off lineups then you have to address the fact that Taiwan/china has more vehicles than Japan, Isreal, and nearly the same as Italy.
So lets look at Italy. The VBC PT2. The VBC is faster, but has Gen 1 Thermals. The CVB does not have proximity rounds. Does not have ATGMs. Has a 10 second reload rate so its slower. Both have a visibility of 136%. So while they give and trade a little bit at this BR but they are actually close in stats. So lets look at win rates (and I didn’t look before this period).
VBC (PT2) = 64%
WMA301 = 62%
So it goes to show, vehicles with these tech upgrades and speed do in fact not belong at this BR. They are both over performing. By the way, the average number of vehicles at this BR is pretty evenly matched. The average is 3 vehicles, with 4 nations having more than 3, and 2 nations having 0. So it does not appear the ability to make a lineup here is giving an advantage.
If a vehicle is in the correct BR, or a balanced position its win rate would theoretically be 50/50. This is what balance means.
Not really, that’s assuming that the players all have the same skill and ideas, there are always going to be above average players that can make their WR higher than 50%. What do you do then? Send the vehicles up a BR because that percentage of players can make it work? Or what about when there are a lot of people struggling with a vehicle, take the Shinden for example, should it go down to 5.0 because people don’t know how to play it?
Actually yes. You should be running them based off the average and not the best players. If you have single players that are above average you balance them by always opposing them. We don’t play correct nation battles anyways, so just mix it. Hell, this would balance the game out pitting op tanks vs op tanks. They do this in Air RB right now. With F14s on both sides. They should be doing the same in ground.
Ok so the good players playing the Shinden for example, if it went down to 5.0, would be curb stomping 4.0s in it, it is faster than 4.0s, has better cannons and is already dominating 6.0-7.0 lobbies when a good player flies them
How is this any different from the WMA301 going down to 8.0 and stomping people? Or the images I showed you how I 1 + CAS death leave and still manage to get 5+ kills. You cannot balance based on one person. For every 1 good player, you have 10 really bad players just trying to have fun. You balance based off the median.
Oh sure you do, and that’s fine, but this leads to problems like the Wyverns, I don’t play ground much but in air Wyverns are a massive plague, they don’t often get many air kills, but they destroy bases and ground targets and can end a match in 5 minutes, players that don’t get air kills led the Wyvern to be at 4.0 with the performance of a 5.3 or more.
Then their win rate would be high though and should be bumped up.
But the players can’t kill air so it’s low
Then their is a flaw in the design. But destroying all the ground targets and winning = a win.
So you agree that the Wyvern should go up? Ok cool, so if we move something lower so it is op it needs to go up again, if we move it higher and it does badly we need to move it down again,
That would be balance. But right now, none of the russian vehicles are getting moved up like they should. The 2S38 is still at 10.0 some how, and it has needed a BR increase for a while.
I don’t know enough about the 2S38 to say what, but it could be because it is a premium, most premiums are undertiered and that’s to increase sales
10.0 russian tank with Gen 3 thermals, proximity rounds, IRST tracking, 48 mph, -5/+75 elevation, stabilizer, unmanned turret (no crew loss with a turret hit), with a 0.5 second reload rate on APFSDS.
Like I said I don’t play ground much so I don’t know if that is op or not,
It is the definition of Soviet P2W. Its strong even in Br11 matches
