Ajax might be the worst implementation to make it to public branch in a while

The Ajax currently has 100% bugged ammo loading, amazing that this made it out of the testing branch. It cannot fire if its ammo is not in first stage, and then it only loads one single shell into first stage and stops.

I think this is how it usually functions for those kinds of vehicles in the game. The strf 90 do exactly the same.

Correct, that’s a “magazine” of sorts, in X-ray its marked as the autoloader.

Yes, it loads it into the magazine, then puts that round into the breach before continuing to re-stock the magazine.

that sounds like how quite few autocannon vehicles operate.

No it literally stops. it loads ONE and doesn’t load a second, it just has some kind of super delay.

which is it? doesn’t load any more after the first at all or is just delayed and loads more after a while?

Either way unusable since it just will not properly reload its autocannon (1 round isn’t exactly useful)

If you imagine a gunner reloading it with his hands in the mechanism, loads one round, stops and takes his hand away from the autoloader to activate the autoloader mechanism to load the one added shell into the breach, once that shell is loaded into the breach he continues adding shells to the autoloader.

It’s not a gun that shoots linked ammo.

Just lift your finger from the mouse and it will start to reload again after the first cycle, or even better learn to ammo manage and dont let it run empty, then you will skip the first cycle

its the same for every autoloader in game
first round loaded → delay → all subsequent rounds load one after another without delay

The AJAX works fine, you just dont know how the game works

I understand that part just fine. Earlier on it was literally loading the first round then there would be a 10-15 second delay before it is willing to load even one more without any firing happening.

I don’t think i’ve seen that happen. I don’t know if over heating the barrel might effect it maybe?
