So apparently something interesting i found is that Italy actually had plans to turn one of their Cruisers, The RN Bolzano, into a Carrier in 1943. Unfortunately the Ship was sunk in 1942 but these plans look interesting
is there any comparison thing like that but with a Midway class or measurement thing (preferably football field, but i can work with other stuff)?
Wonder what planes woulda been used. Looks quite funky
More than likely Carrier versions of already existing Italian Aircraft
Probably Re.2001OR
Btw there was a proposal for Impero to be used as a platform for carrying V-1 rockets)
I bet landing on that thing would be a bigger challenge than becoming an famous ace
I want to see Bogue added to the game
We’re close to the last week of the battlepass task involving gaining mission score in vehicles obtained from the current season - in the past, the chances of being able to play Air RB maps w/ carriers on them have tended to increase in this situation when the free prize is a Japanese plane, so this might be a good time to try playing aircraft w/ the " Naval Aircraft " spawntag around the 3.3 - 4.0 area close to the new influx of SB2C-5(THA) 's.
Good luck !
If you guys could name 1 Carrier that you would like to see in game, what would it be? Mine is USS Bogue
Nimitz for things like the F-18, F-14, and F-4J
The carriers already ingame and fully modeled: Forrestal, Ark Royal, Kusnetzov and so forth.
Maybe one of the British invincible class carriers
USS Saratoga (CV-3)
Yes
USS Nimitz CVN-68, RIP (it’s currently on its last deployment, sadly), but also the USS Saipan (cause harriers)
Just did something stupid. Maybe they could add airship tender like USS Patoka (AO–9) into the game first?

Bearn
There were some minor code changes in WTM recently which could be related to carriers, so I’ll record them here:
Some revision to the UI for displaying damage taken by the player-controlled ship while in the menu for directing aircraft:
Moved the internal location of the button which returns player control from the aircraft to it 's launch ship( does not seem to have changed the actual functionality ):
