Oh yeah, I’m totally cool with AMRAAMs coming eventually. At higher BRs where they will only really fight current top tier. Not poor little Mirage F1s and F-4EJ Kais fighting Gripen Cs or F-15Cs.

I’d hope not for this update at least. I can see the subsonics being alright when equipped with AMRAAMs. They’d just be basically levitating Pantsirs, though, so not particularly enjoyable to fight or play. But SPAA disguised as slow moving aircraft isn’t anything new.
R-27EA right now actually exist they arent mass produced they are retrofitted R-27E’s with R-77 seeker

I think they’ll also add F-15J and J-11 as well since it’s clones of F-15 and Su-27, so no big deal to show clones in teaser.
I would hope so, but also it would be funny because the J-11 has a better radar.
WT radars is just placeholder mechanic. Gajins tweak it as they want.

I’m going to wait to the dev stream to really think about anything, but seeing the flanker with 6 r-27ers and the F-15 with Aim7 and Aim9-L is very disappointing. If this is how it ends up the team with Russian jets win every time and will not be balanced. The dev stream should give more info so time will tell.
The Chinese flanker has inferior engines. Radar as well iirc. At least it his the best colors imo though.
The later variants is when we see China really excel in Flankers.

Agreed, personally I don’t see how a SARH F15 could compete against a Su27 Flanker with 6xER and 4xR73 and HMD, betting on early ARH getting added before launch
