Not really because most of the top tier players dont know how ro evade missiles. Thats why they multipath.

I think things have improved recently; more and more people are realizing that gaining altitude provides a real advantage. Perhaps the altitude changes in contrails will further alter players’ habits.
However, the small size of the maps is really noticeable as you gain altitude, so I hope we’ll get larger maps someday.

That’s true, but I think sim players are starting to understand (at least those who are there to actually play and not just grind).
There will always be players just there to grind, but at least if a small portion can start to progress, that’s something.

That’s for sure (though I’m not very good at the game either, I just like to play in a more or less realistic way, gain altitude, complete my objectives and then return to base calmly).

At this point just make a mode where all these bozos can just fight against named bots to increase their KD ratio or stimulate whatever emotion they get from seeing target destroyed message.

… gotta love people acting like gay is an insult outside of medieval societies. Folk need to use another label if they intend to declare someone as vile or bad.
Some tricks for you
- While using a bomber you can use the gunners view to have 3rd person view.
- In modern jets if you play bomber turn off the radar to be less spotted and if your plane has bomb computer use armament selection to your bombs so the lead indicator shows in your cockpit.
This is the downside of removing the spawn cost for aircraft in EC, yes it could be a pain but at the start of each match it was at least an even playing field. Today with all of the objectives on the map it’d probably take very little time to reach the 450sp cost for the more powerful aircraft.
That said then you create another problem especially to those joining a match half way through that they’d potentially have to face high end aircraft against an entry level jet.
I wonder if a system could work where you could bring back SP and each player starts with the maximum amount for the best jet… but certain aircraft above a set BR couldn’t generate SP, so if you’re shot down you’re forced to use a lower BR aircraft to generate SP. This way people can fly what they want and you’d have to use the low BR aircraft at some point making it fairer for those who are new to that bracket.
Or it’s a stupid idea and I’ve just made everything 10x worse.

It’s interesting to watch the entire time someone spends in a game… it was only 10 minutes, not even time for a useful action.
Take off, fly directly at someone you’ve only joined the game to kill, which is incredibly … lucky? Skillful? Magical?
Follow them to the af as they go to rearm… (you really should watch server replay since you’ll note that I actually HAD NO WEAPONS LEFT)…
Camp above the airfield waiting for your ‘random target’ to take off for a few minutes and then swoop in and kill them just out of range of the SPAA.
This isn’t the first time this has happened…
What’s REALLY interesting is what happens next.
Some playful banter in chat… all in good fun… but I don’t play WT to be stalked, and again, leave and join another game.
But of course the real victim here doesn’t want to fly his 262 so instead flies around for a while, realises that the player he keeps following around isn’t coming back and just… j’s out.
Meanwhile, I switch nations and lo and behold, the same weirdo appears in the new game a few minutes later… always on the opposing team.
Being killed is part of the game… no problem at all with that. Being followed and focused is again… just weird.

(it was a good shot (I watched the replay after to check for aimbotting) … his third… but I was more concerned with dodging the fifth? strafing attack from an enemy jet… I didn’t even know he was there)
