Air sim BR changes desperately needed

ik, its a real shame and such a missed opportunity. Gaijin has to be one of the most cashed up game dev’s out there and could’ve put just the bare minimum into it’s sim mode and easily fleshed it out into something more engaging and dynamic, similar to what nuclear option has done. That alone would likely have captured most of the simming market, even at the current WT fidelity.

And that’s why, imho, they’re pushing so much with high tier premiums, because sim apart, even those ones playing other modes are getting enough. They just refuse to listen and it’s sad that the community still doesn’t understand that WE have the power, the customers, but as long as they released shiny and modern vehicles there will always be someone spending money in this game

The perfect example of this is the new premium Venezuelan Su-30 that’s usually the only redfor plane you see in 13.3. Essentially an Su-27SM, but .3 BR lower. For no reason. Same radar as Su-27SM, same amount of ARH missiles, countermeasures, flight performance.

Two less

It is under tiered, but its not strictly the same as the current 13.7 flankers - they either have a way better radar and flight performance or a couple more missiles and way better flight performance. Would it be more balanced to have the premium su30’s at 13.7 - yeah, but as always from 10.7+ br compression is at work

The 13.7 Su-27SM has the same radar as the Su-30 MKK and MK2 AMV and from what I can tell, pretty much the same flight performance. You’re right though, it does get two less ARH missiles. Hopefully decompression solves this, but it’s also a common theme for gaijin to undertier premium vehicles that clearly have an advantage over tech tree variants.

27SM has basically same radar as the two premium su30’s yes, but the flight performance is substantially superior on both 27SM and j11B due to the much better engines and less weight.
