AIR RB WITHOUT SPOT system?

Like in the SEAD mission. This is insane mechanic and make more fun and exciting plays. And the 3 spawn is very good too. I hope we see a similar air rb game mode replacing the current one.

If anything, maybe this would make gaijin fix its rendering errors.

Without markers, these are things you’d be dealing with.

Really like the idea.
It would be bit better if they also added different type of spotting - AEW&C or ground radar
giving you atleast heading towards the enemy. (modern ones give also enemy heading, speed, and altitude) it is bit annoying searching for that ONE person godknows where.

If nothing else, Id love to see a good 2 week trial event at a decent range of BRs and see how it actually plays like in a “proper” ARB match.

that would be nice idea to do to see w everyone would like it ?

+1 curious to see if it would solve the furball problem this game seems to suffer from

PLEASE take out markers on ARB, or at least in their respective BRs. No reason for it given these planes literally have radar? Like, imagine a GRB with enemy markers?

OR, at the very least offer a rotated SEAD or asymmetrical / 3 spawn / no enemy markers / BR rotated game mode in events.

I don’t think I’m the only skilled player that is sick of having to fly SIM for SKILLED PvP gameplay. Also, SIM is a whole other issue.

ARB in its current state feels extremely outdated given the airplane capabilities, it just turns into missile spam so I’m forced to play defensively until the fur balls are over.

Gaijin can’t keep adding these new planes and putting us in the same game modes and maps designed for 2016 vehicle content.

This isn’t all top tier…

I play RB over SB because it has markers. In 16 vs 16 i want all the situational awareness possible, and removing markers just kills the gamemode.

1 spawn also characterizes the mode. I’d like to know i’ve defeated a player and earned a strategic victory for my team. Making it 3 just makes the inevitable furball last far longer. Less will properly play props, nobody will have any incentive to not die. You’d just be turning it into this awful amalgamation between SB and AB that i never want to see.

Air rb and ground rb rly outdated and boring. Same gamemode since 2014. Air rb EC needed or more mode like a sead or intercept mission etc…

If they fix rendering, it would be good. If they did it now, we will have planes that look like they are 5km out but are like 10km out.

American mains might complain when their aim9m jets get moved up but i would love the aim9m buff.

I’m all for it as long as there are objectives forcing people to go to “combat area”, because current Air RB without spotting would just increase the number of ground pounders and would nake Wyvern bombers untouchable.

I wouldn’t bring it to anything less than jet tiers and with radar or that they have access to be teamed with friendlies with radar. In general, not really below 9.3 with 9.3 being the deck, you can’ play below that BR.
That’s why , for the moment it has to be an event. For testing purposes.

Though , for lower tiers-props
they can always make 3-5 circles in the air and cap the circle, spreaded in the map and in different heights in synergy with ticket bleed from GT pounding for the strike/attackers/ bombers , but i don’t know how it will work in reality.

I think people here ask for a mode or event for it. So if you don’t like it you won’t play it.
Just delete or replace current RB with markerless won’t work for lower tiers unless we have map changes, mechanics changes , MM changes…
In high tiers it’s easy to say…use your radar, if anything if a plane has good or bad radar is a point of value in RL Realistically. In WW2 planes… though, i don’t know if it will work without heavily tweaking many things.

This was always the correct course, removing markers at all levels means player have to visually identify each other in props and use their actual Radar at higher tiers.

It stops players in props farming that low flying strike aircraft for fear of not knowing what it could be.
It would allow jet bombers a chance to actually survive.
Players would have to use their brains and not just be handed all the information.

I only played SEAD 2 times. I cant remember if friendly show up with markers.
Idk how I feel about it. Not being able to know where the hell the enemy is. Thats what sim is for in my opinion.
