It is incredibly easy for a Mirage 2K to not die to a R24R and then the MiG-23 straight up can do nothing, not even run away. It’s not fast enough.
JA37 has no chance against any decent M2K player.

These planes are played by a LOT of new players. A substantial amount.
Using statsharks December stats:
Theres ~340k games played in all other 8.0-8.3 sabres, vs 60k in the F2.
Theres ~454k games in the 15/15Bis + Bis Ish. Vs 80k in J-4 and 17.
13A ~65k
Hunter ~12k
these planes are played nearly 6x less than the common 8-8.3 jets. (except the hunter. Apparently no one plays that.)
Are they good 8.7s? Yes. Would the be okay a 9.0? Yes. Should the F2,17,CL13A,Hunter be 9.0? No.

At present no.12.7 in the game is undertiered.
Like i said yesterday the jump.from 12.7 to.13.0.is that big every 12.7 jet is cope level. Hence why people want everything lower…

Because you would expect the same level of balance for similar aircraft variants that also have minor buffs/nerfs even though they are at the same BR? The Premium F/A-18’s are a good example.

F18s withamd without bol, differnent engines- same BRs. Other vics that get CMs over the version that doesnt for eg have a 1.0 BR difference.

Because what you don’t understand is that the powercreep between 12.3 and 12.7 going into 13.3 and 13.7 is already severe, you can’t expect people with only 2 SARH missiles to face jets with like 8 modern ARH missiles. Do you not play top tier? Anything with ARH missiles will be able to constantly pressure something like a Mirage while it can’t properly fight back because the player has to defend the entire time. This isn’t as bad as something like a Viggen having to face a Mirage because they both almost have the same weapon capability, just that the Mirage does it better.
using that logic the Mig-29 needs to go down in BR too
but the Mig-29 has worse IR missiles and worse overall avionics so it should be even lower in BR then
so the Mig-29 should be 12.0, using the same arguments you are using
Mirage has better missiles, better avionics and way better flight performance

The MiG out ranges and outperforms the Mirage, the only reason it’s at 12.7 was because it has R-27ER’s which were a balancing choice when it was first added fighting the F-16A
