Air kill rewards in naval - What's the point

Just got 33 Mission score for killing 7 aircraft (only 1 was catapult launched).

What’s the point in making ships that are designed for Anti-air duties if playing them as such is not rewarded? Instead, it’s more effective for me to use the AA ships and missiles to attack surface vessels, despite taking out catapult and float aircraft being an important way to prevent losing to points being captured in higher tier matches.

Damaging the aircraft could give most of the score, but I don’t know too much about naval

Killing planes in naval is so easy that I find it okay it doesn’t give too many score points.
You can agree that you have choice between letting the IA kill them for you or just do some point & click with your guns.

Because destruction of aircraft is not the main source of score for destroying aircraft. The rest is in damage to the enemy and severe damage to the enemy

So you think 700 score total is fair for killing 7 aircraft and 2 ships?

I’d have a score in the 2000-3000 range if I’d used my AA ship to kill 9 ships instead, but when I use a vehicle for its intended role, I get punished? That doesn’t feel counter-intuitive and a little unfair to you?

It could be, in naval you could get 9 ship kills with that low of score if you did barely any damage and just finished them all off

But that’s not what happened?

I killed 7 aircraft, from no damage to dead.

If it was the same way for GRB no-body would spawn SPAA except for ones that can easily kill tanks (which is already an issue).

Why add advanced or specialised AA systems if they won’t be rewarded for doing their job?
