No, the idea is to avoid that scenario as much as possible. Bombers are PVE, unless disturbed.

I know from experience that for some, the vehicle that completes the task needs to be rank 3.

Let me re-phrase.
There is no Assault mode for bombers (to research modules vs bots).
But fighters and attackers can research modules in Air Assault against bots.

I’m not talking about that specific mission mentioned above. I’ve never done it so you are probably correct.

I do know that some ground missions require the vehicle to be rank 3, even if you start the mission in a rank 3 vehicle. I’ve been denied advancement.

I am talking about all tasks.

One of the easiest tasks there is ffs!

Even on airfield cap tasks you can get 10-20 - should never take more than 3 games - 4 if you have a really bad streak!

I’m no math genius but …
3 games x (upper end) 20 = 60. MY APOLOGIES - I mixed up the 100 kill task with the 32 kill one.

And that is assuming there aren’t 3-4 other players doing the same thing.

Could you please put in simple words which aspect of 32 < 60 you don’t understand?

Carefull with challenges:
It usually depends on the wording. Some challenges work this way, others require the actual vehicle to be rank 3+. Look for “use vehicle in the mission” vs “player vehicle”.
The first challenge would only count kills by rank 3+ as it says “player vehicle”.

There is no need to prove all this again, it has been working for as long as I play, and that is 10+ years. If people don’t want to believe it, that is their problem. (Dunning Kruger in a nutshell)

Yes - however all the “kill x ground targets with y planes” (up to and including 180 with bombers - I think attackers might have a max of 80) count T2 as long as you also use T3 at some point - I routinely do the bomber ones with Swedes using B18B and Ju-88 - even at 180 it is trivially easy although takes longer obviously.

The Attacker ones I do with a lineup of 5 or 6 Il-2’s - again trivially easy

1 of the things to do with these tasks is take larger numbers of small bombs rather than a few large ones - eg for the B-25 family IIRC 20x 100lb is better than 3 x 1000 lb, for Swedish B18 18x 50kg, for Sturmoviks I carry 6 x 100kg rather than 250kg or rockets

Careful again, it is (or was) a bit more complicated:
There is a “T3 flag” in the software. This flag has to be “1” when the task checks and is “0” at the start.
-So if the task is a win task, you can use the t3 at any time, just don’t forget it. Because the flag will only be checked at match completion.
-But if it is a do X n-times task, the task will check the flag with each kill, base destruct, cap, whatever. So have the flag set to “1” when you go about killing stuff.

(I actually still encountered this recently when I forgot to queue a T3 first. My first base kill didn’t count for the task, but the score counted for the event (as the event flag was “1” before end of match).
