The F14B is completly underpowered nowadays being at 13.0 you have no 9M and according to the dev server next update will nerf it’s RWR. I’ve never played the game for meta planes but it has become a pain just to play.

I’ll actually agree with this now. Before the BR bumps I was opposed but now with it 13.0 I see no good reason to not give the 14B 9Ms.

Wrong, the F-14A Early was already undertiered, the IRIAF F-14A only brought more attention to the issue as there was simply more F-14 players because of the event.
Give the F-14B it’s AIM-9Ms and give both the IRIAF F-14A and F-14A Early different ordinances to cope with the BR increase - blame decompression not the vehicle itself.

The 9M entered production in 1982. The 54C entered production in 1986. That is 6 years of Aircraft integration. By the time the F-14B was using AIM-54Cs it should have been armed with AIM-9Ms. If you are talking about it getting a historical weapon the 9M would not be wrong.

Historically the F-14B used AIM-9Ms so what’s your argument against it? Saying you want historical load out then saying no to the 9M is a contradiction.

And no, saying I want historical loadouts, which already exist in the game as of current, is not a contradiction, that is called ideological consistency.
I don’t want your preferred historical loadout cause I want the F-14D to be relevant rather than a sidegrade.
The F-14D will have an IRST. something the F-14B in game does not have. There is your relevance. Not to mention the upgraded radar.
