Should we actually buff the Aim-7P or Aim-9L?
If so, or so not, elaborate.

Availability broadening would be nice. Not sure about buffs. 120’s need some help though.
I mean you made the topic. Be the first to elaborate.
Aight, basically i think that these two are a bit “underpeforming” as people call it, it can be easily maneuvered (examples: Earlier missiles, like in the MiG-23ML), for like the Sukhoi series and the Eurofighter series (from what i can see), it should be similar to an R-73
You have any documents proving that or do you just want it to behave that way?
R-73 caused such a panic when NATO got some to test after the reunification of Germany that it triggered development of AIM-9X… I don’t imagine that would have happened if sparrows could pull the same as it.
Does aim9l have irccm? Or thrust vectoring? Currently its analog of r60m and aim9m is analog of r73.
Well, not really, i’m not gonna have the FBI at my door today, but, its both?
To be fair, the NATO jets actually have it all good unless its at 12.0 ish (8.7 is probably the sweet spot), but not exactly. It near matches the orginal logs, bur where does gajin even get that info?
What?
And aim9m should be similar to r37m yes
Basically; it needs a buff.
Yes. The primary upgrade of the AIM-9M over the “LIMA” variant is its IRCCM capability. It uses a “switch-off” or flash-blanking technique. when it detects the sudden spike of a flare, it temporarily blinds its seeker or holds its current tracking trajectory until the flare passes out of view.
Clearly Russian pilots only lean out of the cockpit and hit the enemy with their shovel!
Should just be a Aim7M with Data link. Make sure they can’t avoid it. Distance, predicatable paths of escape for them, but they really need to be facing you head on. Sometimes you’ll get luck with angles if theyre close enough but then you open yourself to more than just that target. Try to make sure they’re above you, nose down at them and get under them. Bait the predator instinct to pursue. You need to play head games. Derby missiles are like MICAs and a whole different animal all together. They will best you regardless if you’re too close. Or close. Or available. Or anywhere really.
Aerodynamically, the unclassified limit for the airframe’s maximum turn capability is 30G (which is accurately reflected in War Thunder’s physics files). However, official tactical manuals note that the maximum target G it can reliably intercept at longer ranges is closer to 12G.
Bruh🤣
You see, both variants share a highly similar aerodynamic airframe utilizing fixed rear wings with rollerons (for roll stabilization) and movable double-delta forward canards for steering to prevent it from going off course, and the R series relys on what i belive is TVC.
They don’t do that anymore and we don’t come to your door.
How Iran thinks their missiles short range missiles preform
oh
