AIM-7f’s are very good at head on engagements in my experience (taking them to the face). Keep in mind the PD is specifically for headon (“HDN”), so the radar favours high closure rate.
What other than track rate
I have the f4s phantom 2, and it used to be amazing. I can tell you i’ll never buy another premium after they gutted it the way they did.

I think weight differences make them show up as performing different in statshark. Not sure in practice
they also have a much larger proxy fuse radius
making them a lot harder to roll than other sparrows
They wrecked the F14 and Radar missiles recently. I thought it was supposed to be fixed?
