Yeah I only carry C-5 for the initial BVR. In the next update, american mains are gonna have to decide B and D from previously B and C-5 which is extremely funny as Gaijin added the D to “give a buff to america”

The next update is going to be actually just a complete nerf. Not having any access to a A or B variant is gonna be interesting.

Gaijin said that if the plane has 120D’s it will be able to carry the B. Which is the exact same as the A ingame(I have no idea why it was even added tbh)

Im going to confuse the aim-120D for a mig25 when its coming toward me. “Oh it has GNSS so op” moves in any direction away and woosh.

I kinda expected the bug report to be denied for other reasons, but no, aparently tech mods cant reconize that 30-40 is significantly different than 15 and they maybe should look into it a bit more

There will only be mods for C-5 and D, with the B included in the C-5 mod.

even just bumping the value to 17.5 is a pretty decent increase but even at 20 degrees of fin aoa it doesnt come close to the pl12 and especially the r77’s. i think the c-5 should atleast match the pl12 or be slightly worse than it. the aim120 should also at least match the pl12 in fin aoa given the pl12 is based on aim120A technology.

are all missiles that arent the amraam that are used by nato
you could say the same about meteor and micas. 9x, iris t and asraam are cheap and very useful for shorad uses + the one in a million chance that dogfighting happens.
shockingly countries with good defense industries and engineers will design and field their own weapons despite very good weapons being present on the export market.
