I don’t know how people are able to defend this, because top tier is arguably incredibly balanced without one nation clearly dominating. Now we are back to the US being yet again the best nation at top tier, and most other BRs too.

i agree exept 1 thing overrall top tier is balanced between nations atm exept 1 france the rafale is really good having one of the best radars in game if not the best one of the best missiles in game and an unrealistic speed u can go mach 2 with no issue with it but far better balanced than in the past
at least in sim untill the SU-30 was added RU had a roughly 25-35% wr dispite having generally more skilled players due to anyone no able to defend against the disgusting numbers of better missiles kinda just got locked out of the mode. And it was like this starting from roughly when the su-27 and f15 were added. they do have seperate BR’s the su-27 is 13.3 in sim.
blu would obviously have a decisive advantage on avionics on 4th gen up until ‘4+’
they had advantages on everything from airframes to missiles to avionics to spawns you were doomed to lose playing redside for a full year. on a side note the ER’s power was nullifed by 100m mutlipathing and the most popular maps being extremely flat which lead to f15a’s f16cs and GB grippens spawn camping red airfields.
Tested the C-5 now. Actually pulls 35Gs when launched. It’s amazing! NATO mains (probably) rejoice in WVR

U speak of an old meta that is no longer here , su33 and su27 would be extremely OP in sim if they were 13.0 ,they would dominate everything due the missiles it has, now u have su34(with a ton of r27et) su30 j11b rafale on the red team that are extremely capable and have a much better radar than the blue time while aim120b has the best range in everyother aspect its bad or mediocare , the sim comm is smaller and this change wont effect much in sim truthfully dont forget that eurofighter radar is blind if used on anything else exept 20x4 so ur SA is small compared to something like and su30 , with this missile the eurofighter wont become OP or anything like that , and sim battles still would be fair given that right now redside has better radars with less range on missiles while bluetime has worse radar with better range on missile , red gets more agile missiles blue gets better airframes (Exept the rafale).

How is Su-33 and 27 OP in sim when they’re in the 13.3 brackets which faces Fox 3? That doesn’t make sense

The missiles are very good of course but i wouldn’t call it op nor the su27

Looking at stats to prove what u dont get 180km of range ever on it go try the f15e and launch both aim120b and aim120c5 at range u will see that they are similar c5 being slightly better but not a big diff what the c5 improves is the pull the missile has off the rail aim120b is stuck at a bit over 20g while aim120c5 pulls 35g directly
It lofts more, which makes it harder to notch because of higher angle

I thought we were talking about official data and not about testing. You didn’t say anything about testing. It’s clear that the AIM-120C-5 won’t reach 180 km, just as the AIM-120A and B won’t reach 80 km.
This means that the AIM-120C-5 has a much greater range than the AIM-120B.
