What was gaijin thinking by adding Ah-64E to basically every tech tree. I’m not trying to complain just wondering why there being passed out like candy.
copy and paste is easy
pretty much their moto right now
Can they not do something better so most nations have something unique
Provide a list of countries that have helicopters with DIRCM and F&F missiles. I just don’t know if they have them. I don’t know if Germany has such helicopters.
Taiwan should not have agm179, even if the helicopter its capable of using em, if they didnt buy it irl shouldnt have em ingame
They seem to think they’re achieving “balance”
by copying and pasting the AH-64E.
The funny thing is that China doesn’t even need an AH-64E because they already have the Z-10ME as a heli with DIRCM and FnF missiles. They would quite literally benefit more a base apache than an AH-64E.
To answer the main question, its just because it’s easy and achieves parity between the nations. They won’t bother modelling new things, when copy+pasting takes zero effort and gets a similar result.
Not many countries have an option for an comparable FnF ATGM carrier without the AH-64E:
- UK’s options are fudging Wildcat slightly to give it spikes from its export models or one of the Indian NAG atgm carriers, which only have 7km range, so not enough to keep up with the competition. Ergo the purchased AH-64Es fill the capability gap. Technically these are distinct from US AH-64Es as they are British production AH Mk.1 upgraded/remanufactured to AH-64E standards.
- France’s domestic JAGM equivalent isn’t due until 2028 which leaves Benelux AH-64Es as their main option
- Japan domestically is planning to use drones instead of attack helicopters, which leaves subtrees, Thailand is buying AH-6 to replace their AH-1Fs, which leaves Indonesian AH-64Es as their only option, technically shouldn’t have JAGMs, but gaijin fudging load outs for balance is nothing new.
Welcome to modern day arms.
Israel sticking with the slow ass spikes T_T
Germany, France, Italy, and others lack helicopters with DICRM and F&F missiles. This leaves all these nations without top-tier helicopters.
Will Sweden ever get a helicopter with f&f missiles? Both the Chinese and Japanese AH-64Es don’t have the AGM-179, yet Gaijin implemented them anyway. What about Sweden? Would Gaijin give them a helicopter with a non-existent analogous capability? 2
Denmark has MH-60R, which has the theoretical capability to integrate JAGM, but I wasn’t able to find any concrete evidence. The other option is to just give Sweden Poland’s AH-64E while Germany’s tiger gets it’s PARS 3 buffed to equivalent degree.
sweden should’ve had half the helicopters in first place. Bo105 and thats it
Because they operated them.
It also took longer for these ones because they’re not copy-paste of the American AH-64E, and they’re even unique compared to each other.
@Coffee_is_GAS
The Chinese AH-64E isn’t pasted from any AH-64E
M4A3E8: Existing.
People: “Is this a copy of the M4A1?”
Yeah no
Yeah Taiwan has AH-64E but not use AGM-179 (IIR) and (SAL)
Countries using AGM-179 I agree to let France and Germany use AH-64E with AGM-179 IIR and SAL as for China and Indonesia don’t they already have FnF missiles, I agree to let use AH-64E but will only use hellfire II because no source says that AH-64E uses AGM-179 IIR and SAL
I think you are forgetting that the missile we have in game (JAGM-MR) nobody uses so if you want to remove it from something remove it from american one
