AH-64E Bugs, suggestions, feedback

Yes, the rocket behaves strangely. It can often just fly over or hit nearby.

you should be able to locate an AA to well within the blast radius of a large JDAM by the RWR pings

I don’t understand why LMUR is ok, why it doesn’t fly past the target or crash into the tank’s track.

Well… No. IRL, it depends on range and RWR accuracy. But IRL iirc there are other modes in RWR/ESM.

I mean yes, but even some f4 models were known to be able to get that precise of a position from RWR data

Dev updated again?

Do you mean the apache itself like how it looks? Or how it feel’s? Cause i love how it flies but that’s maybe just me. I mean it’s very nimble and maneuverable

Just talking about the looks between both games. How it feels is very very different between both games. But the visual model looks identical.

There is still 1 that I found that is currently accepted so hopefully that does not get sniped as well.

yeah it took 3 tries for the bug report person to read it

Why it is AGM-179 JAGM-MR… It should be Trident 0.5

The IBFS should have a very steep terminal dive angle, so it fuses properly.

R and JAGM have different selectable trajectories from extremely flat to normal 20deg to steep up to 90 deg.

It’s not implemented in game, as we have a Gaijin “original” Dynamic Lofting system, that automatically blends together the worst elements of the -Hi, -Lo and -Dir, shaped trajectories based on the range to the target and altitude, with no upside.

So important note, while its stated to be “generation 2” it has the resolution far in excess of the generation 3 that we have in game, having a resolution of 1728 x 960, generation 2 in game is 800x600, while generation 3 is 1200x800.

Pathfinder is the same pilotage sensor that the M-TADS mounts, just installed on other aircraft.

Uh, idk about it. In all docs Arrowhead is “Second generation FLIR”

As already stated, it is generation 2 IRL, it’s resolution in WT would make it gen 3, since it is a vastly higher resolution that what we have as gen 3 in game.

It doesn’t work like that in game.

Does for all other reports, it’s thermal resolution is still 1728x960, not 800x600, nor 1200x800.

“Generation” reports are only relevant if you don’t have the output resolution of the system, pathfinder, aka the M-TADS PNVS pilotage thermal, we do have the output resolution, thus, there is no reason to adhere to the generation designation, the data exists.

Reminder as well, the Kiowa is cited as having a generation 2 thermal sensor, however, it’s output resolution is a whopping 1800x960 and it is currently generation 3 in game due to that resolution, the MH-60L DAP also falls into this category due to the US Army not considering any sensor itself with a focal plane below 1000x1000 generation 3.

This is also why the Navy, with 680x50 sensors considers them “generation 3” while the US Army does not, it is totally a arbitrary value that differs per branch of the US armed forces.
