Already refuted what you said
Yeah
Slam would be a cruise missile while jsow is a glide bomb
Range affected by alt and speed but still pretty long range
To be honest, i’m not entirely sure. I did lightly look into that a while back, but found it quite difficult to find anything concrete. (Certainly not helped by the fact I can neither read German or Hungarian lol).
However, we do have a long standing precedent that the snail will grant loadouts based on technical capability, regardless if an importing country actually procured or operated those munitions.
So even if it cannot be proved H145M HU actually operated AGM’s, just proving the capability to do so wasn’t removed might be enough for it to get them.
Maybe, if technical capability is still presented, they can add it.
Although anyway I’m hoping for wider Romanian representation and IAR-330 SOCAT would be a nice alternative (actually more interesting imo since it’s kinda unique).
After Italy & France got the first Heli Spikes on their Tigers in October 2023 (Kings Of Battle), naturally annoying Israel players watching more Spikes being given to everyone but them, snail said in Q&A that Spikes for Saraph were “under consideration”.
I asked Smin that December if there was any update, but were still under consideration even then.
Then in March 2024, they add AH-60 with twice the spikes of the Tigers, leaving everyone perplexed as to what the issue with giving Saraph the same amount of Spikes as Tigers was, and it’s been radio silence on giving them to Saraph ever since.
At this point I can only assume they’re holding back on it, solely as to not make US/UK/JPN 64D players feel left behind? No idea.
Truly a bizarre saga lol.
The Seraph has a higher survivability overall.
One is a utility helicopter equipped with weapons, the other is a dedicated attack helicopter.
I get that, but right now there is absolutely no reason to play Saraph anymore.
If Saraph could carry 2x4 Spikes, whilst AH-60 maintained its 4x4, then there is an actual tradeoff to consider where both become viable in different circumstances.
The Russians have the trinity now.
The KA-52 that can kill tanks and aircraft
The Su-30SM providing cap while being able to launch its KH-38MTs from 20 KMs or more (mind to remind you that the ADATS has half of that range maybe even less to be effective).
And the S1. This one is not that hard to evade but it’s the best there is and when you have all of these… think about this. You are in any other plane and you spawn in. There is a Su-30 firing 3 R-77s at you. 2 S1s and besides the fact that you can’t so CAP you can’t even do CAS to help your team that is getting evaporated by the 38s and KA-52s.
I don’t think that limited mmw weapons don’t have to be integrated. Instead of 16 hellfires add just 8. Instead of 18 brimstones add 8 or 10
Looks perfect for FCR use to me. lock identify fire.
yes perfect when actually forced to identify instead of just letting people spam missiles into unknown targets
If they don’t identify they get banned for TKs. I don’t see the issue. The radar should also pick up dead tanks. If you don’t want to waste a missile you should be identifying.
He has a point
Sure get kicked after 2 ones. The problem was those 2 still died, not only that but this isn’t binary. You’re gonna have way more frequent teamkills with such system and it will be a problem that no one wants to deal with. The balance will also be a problem and it isn’t suitable for the game in the way you want it right now
Even if you kill just 1 person a match when it is frequent and constant people start to get pissed off about the weapon system. Support for the 114L is important imo
Guess we will be left to agreeing to disagree. You want artificial limits and I don’t want hand holding for laziness.
considering the game without so common aps and chaff smoke this is what it has to be or players on both sides will be pissed off about the weapon and it either can’t come now or can come in limited fashion. you can disagree with that but gaijin won’t really care. they’ll add it when they see it reasonable.
Ka-52 that’s useless in ground due to SPAA, just like Apache.
Su-30SM which provides equal CAP as F-15E and Rafale while having a slightly worse payload than Rafale, and arguably equal payload to F-15E.
Pantsir which can’t frag F-15E, Su-30, Rafale, etc due to its bad range for the CAS it’s facing.
Radar AGMs should stay out of the game.
AH-64E can come in with SPIKEs if you want F&F IR weapons.
The mitigation most of us want for the tornado/typhoon is for exponential and significant SP costs after 6. (This also makes it easy as this is just 2 hard points) This way in gamemodes like ASB you can still run as many as you want without annoying hard limits.
Same could be applied to FnF hellifres or any AGM that was too strong
disagree
i don’t think the idea that op systems should exist based on the idea that you pay for them with sp
you can pay for a vehicle that kills, however it shouldn’t be op
spawnpoints should be used for balancing non op systems
