The AH-1F is still missing countermeasure pods after this (AH-1F "Modernized" Cobra missing flares/chaff - Already Reported & Solved Issues - War Thunder - Official Forum) report made in 2020… 4 years later and still no fix implemented. Please, address this.

Is this going to be adressed? Being restricted to only heli rushing sucks, neither me or the 2 enemies i kill have any fun at all. Long range fights give the enemies quite a bit of time to quite literally move out of unguided rockets’ way, in terms of ATGMs you still need to close the distance to just under 3.5km where you might not be able to evade a missile anyway.
I think it’d work because most missiles that the AH-1F faces include IRCCM, most of those can be defeated by deploying flares in a particular way (go roughly 100 degrees off the missile and displace altitude), this forces the pilot to abort their attack or risk being shot down before your BGM gets to the target. Surviving has a downside of rarely being able to actually do the killing part which in my eyes is fine especially at 9.7 and in general just gives a bit more “interaction” outcomes than just “either you die, or the enemy dies”.
