For some reason this issue hasn’t been addressed even though its been reported in the bug report page but it haven’t even been read even though there are multiple posts about it.
The AGM88G AARGM-ER, KH31P and YJ91 all overfly their objectives and refuse to turn to hit the enemy.
The GNSS in the AARGM-ER doesn’t even works.
Dont forget how they are missing so many features - the 88 has, to put it simply, electronic warfare onboared, it has radar masking tech.
It also seems to crash into the ground a lot, which needless to say is inaccurate, and not only GNSS but, and i may be wrong here and mix it up with a prototype, but it has a sorta image seeker, similar to how advanced AAMs “remember” the shape of the target.
Maybe when we will get EW and the growler itll get the EW elec but still super broken
except that’s not the problem. in a test drive, they regularly keep lock (can tell by spectating the missile, the camera stays locked onto the bot the whole time) but just overshoot by not turning enough.
it has its design mostly to for longer range glide/drag performance and better heat management for mach cruise speeds, the MMW radar also doesnt help with stealth at all (tho there are maybe some things that can be done about that, tho as it shares the same guidance section as the AARGM you would need proof that both have this)
Yeah my source was trash ngl
About the ground it is mainly with earlier HARMs but they seem to be fixed on target but when nearing it instead if fuzing they go for ground
You know also if there is radar confusing? I had multiple times that i fired from far way on 1 enemy and it either weny for a completely different one or, twice, a teammates? I thought it had noise filtering
